  5. I've been a drunk asshole for years.
  6. My favourite show so far has been with Bonnie Bramlett & John Hammond, man its a smoking show. This looks like it will give that one a run for its money though (slight run perhaps), I imagine it'll be available later today too, since the same taper has upped 3/9,10,12 13,14,16 & 17 so far and they've all sounded great.
  7. Thanks Thorgnor. This phrase bothers me to no end. Other alternative? Don't use it. Seems easy enough, unless your not capable of compreheneding the racial undertones and insinuations towards first nations people it projects. Rob, perhaps you mean "stuck in YOUR lexicon"
  8. Thanks. I had read that, and the Winnipeg sun article about the settlement when I did a search. I wasn't sure if I was missing something else, mainly about the Canadian lawsuit.
  9. Yeah, seems to be workin as normal now, I had some errors show up (no forum type deal), closed the page and opened a new one and all is good. [edit to add] Cheers bouche, thanks for all the hard work you do keeping this site goin, its appreciated.
  10. Seems to moving a bit better now, not sure what, if anythihng was done but it didn't take me 2 minutes to open this thread this time. Still sorta laggy though. [edit to add] Spoke too soon...
  11. Not doubting you, but for the life of me I cannot find a single article saying they have lost, would you mind directing me in the right direction. Thanks.
  12. This started for me yesterday actually, sometime in the late afternoon. I thought it was a problem on my end, so last night (and even this morning) I cleaned up my computer, blocked all ads and its still loading extremely slow. Normally this site runs really fast for me, usually faster then most sites I visit, with or without ADs blocked. To be honest, and I'm sure I'll be chastised severely for saying this, but since the twitter box was added the site has been rather messed up for me, very slow loading and at times just hanging to the point that I have to crtl+alt+delete my way out of it. I dunno if that is the cause or not, but thats my observation.

  14. There is and it can be found here. http://www.playingforchange.com/ Further investigation finds that they didn't record all together at the sametime, but while Mark Johnson (filmamaker) travelled the world. Good blog interview with Mark here. http://www.pbs.org/moyers/journal/blog/2008/10/guest_blogger_mark_johnson_of.html Regardless, its a great video.
  15. Mel is a great musician and awesome guy. I had the pleasure of sharing some great conversations about blues music with him after his La Luna gigs on a few occasions. I hope he gets well soon.
  16. Had an email asking me to re-upload this, but it turns out the original is still active, so in case anyone missed it or is still interested, the link in the OP is still good.
  17. Toss a fruit basket in, I may consider it.
  18. True, due to being born in England, but both his parents were Irish, and they returned to Ireland not long after he was born. [edit to add] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shane_MacGowan
  19. The Dubliners are great, but the Pogues + Dubliners = awesome. One of my favourite Dubliners vids from my favourites list
  20. I grabbed the FLACs (where the mp3s came from) of the entire show off demonoid, in case anyone wants the lossless version.
