Mike, its the same guy that says he drinks 6 beers on playoff game-nights and tells us he was 'wasted' and that he is hungover. The moral of the story? He's a lightweight.
  3. This actually makes me want to see them. They pour beer on you and swear? I pay thousand dollar hookers to do the same thing!
  4. Thanks Jakis. I miss that band. Fat Tony was perfect for him in that setting. This Burlap Sack and Pumps is great.
  5. OH MY LORD! Didnt he have a diaper on???????
  6. That was bloody (literally, I cut my foot on a lawn chair) AWFUL. I couldnt believe how packed that stage was. Thankfully people were clearing out half-way through their set which allowed Douglas and I to move around a bit and find a happy place.

OH YEAH! Getting back to Randy Newman, until tonight I forgot that he has written one of my favorite songs and I got to hear him play it tonight. Previously, I only knew John Belushi singing it with the Blues Brothers. It's entitled Guilty Totally awesome shit. Great song. Thanks Randy!
  10. If you are a MAJOR fan of the Die Hard series and would like to see a movie this summer, this might be the one for you. If you arent a fan of the series then dont even rent it. Speaking of which, John McClane would kick the fucking snot out of Jack Bauer. Any day of the week.

I dont know really Jakis. It was ok but people around me and friends outside of me were very impressed with it. I liked parts but I am a major Chuck-whore so dont listen to me. It sounded like a song he could fucking tear apart but he didnt take an opportunity.
  12. Los Lobos made it worth missing George as far as I am concerned. They played a set filled with their Blues tunes which would have made Jaimoe proud even though I had hoped for more of their latino avenues. I think the opening tunes were Key To The Highway, Crossroads and their seminal Dont Worry Baby. Holy fuck though, they had some serious sound issues in there. You had to work fucking hard for the decent pockets and I dont blame anyone for leaving early. Hell, this picture was taken from a bad sound pocket. Go figure. I am dead center for Christ's sake!

I think the last song was called George? That's what I was told. I aint never heard it before. It was certainly their longest tune of the set. Great pic Mike!
  14. I think he is talking about K-OS
  15. Hahaha. Thanks for the laugh. Spalding Smails: I want a hamburger... no, a cheeseburger. I want a hot dog. I want a milkshake... Judge Smails: You'll get nothing, and like it.

  17. You think chicks lie about their consumption more than men?
  18. There's gotta be an Ollie joke in here.
  19. Jaimoe, I thought the same thing for a minute until I realized that we didnt have a very talented squad representing us at this tournament. From the limited viewing I gave this team, I walked away knowing that their execution in the final third of the field was less than becoming. That says it all. Plain and simple. In all honesty, I am thrilled that we are bringing in a Canadian coach who understands the vulnerability of being on our national team. He's been there and done that. If it doesnt work out then by all means try and get someone outside of the country but its a well played gamble hiring someone of his pedigree.
