My mom and I were taking my daughter to get a haircut at a local salon (A Cut Above...) yesterday in Chatham. As we were walking into the salon, I see two 40-50 year old men duking it out in the parking lot beside one of those scooter/ebikes that is laying on its side. I sent my mom and daughter into the salon and stayed to monitor the situation as there was families throughout the lot. The men separate in the lot and the scooter rider is following the other gentleman into a nearby dollar store as they are still spewing obscenities back and forth. Inside the store the situation escalates further to the point where myself and another level headed citizen had to get in between the guys and separate them before they hurt others around them in the store. We managed to get them back out side just in time for the cops to show up. By this point I had heard what they were fighting about. Apparently the scooter driver was struck by the other guys pick-up truck gently and the driver got out and pulled the scooter driver off of his scooter and threw it to the ground. The drivers obscenities were directed at the fact that driving such a scooter is gay and that they shouldn't be aloud on the road. The driver threatened to 'fuck up' the scooter driver right in front of an officer and when the officer confronted the driver on doing so, the driver threatened to 'fuck up' the officer to. Bam! Slammed against the cop car, thrown in cuffs and taken to jail. Good times in Chatham.

Anyone else catch what happened tonight? Papelbon blew the save in Baltimore with 2 out and 2 strikes in the 9th and then within 2 minutes Longoria homered to end the game in the 12th inning and get the Rays into the post season.

I'm going for the basement this year...

The green up arrow just gave me an internal service error. I went into control panel and unchecked the auto jump, then signed out of jambands entirely. When I went to log back in I tried three times and kept getting booted until I clicked on the remember me button, then I was able to get back in. I re-checked the auto jump box, saved and am still having the same problem as above, I am running firefox, not sure what version, but I got the newest one a few weeks ago, 6.something

I'm not seeing any arrow myself. I click the name of the person who posted last (most recent) in the thread and it opens on that post. That's how I've always done that, unless I'm misunderstanding what your talking about. I have the option "Auto jump to new posts" enabled. No little arrows for me. When I click on the most recent post on the right side it jumps down to that post, it used to do that automatically when i opened up the thread title on the left side but clicking on the thread title doesn't jump down any longer. After doing that on the first thread i read on the site for the first time in said sitting, when i go back to the, say, sanctuary, all of the new post indicators are gone. Then when i go into Rich Stadium all of the new posts are marked until i look at the first one, then they all disappear again. Just sayin'
