  1. Super-wicked-awesome-splendid news! More boys for Ada to play with! Can't wait to meet the little guy and see you kids again too!
  2. Happy Birthday Sara! You're one of the nicest, most genuine, most interesting, and most intelligent women I've had the pleasure to have met. I wish you all the best in the coming years and I look forward to meeting your offspring with great anticipation!!! I hope you have a fantastic day of celebration!
  3. Does it count that I wish I had been there? I've seen them before... AMAZING.
  4. Wow; that's fantastic news. Congratulations to both of you!
  5. One video and one audio output. Yes, a RCA connector for composite video output. Not sure if my system has SVideo in or not...
  6. That's interesting; I had a friend here just the other night that was looking for the same thing. Unfortunately I don't seem to have one in my media archives. I'll make sure he lets me know how he resolves his situation so that I can share it with you.
  7. Yup, I've got a camera right here that takes that casette. I pulled one out of it to compare and it looks exact. The camcorder is a Sharp VL-E47C. Here's a picture of it: There's a composite video out connector on the side. We'd just need something to record onto I guess. I wonder if I've got a PC that will accept that input. Hmmm...
  8. I've actually got a bunch of 8mm film that I'd love to covert. I have an assortment of old video cameras and such. Send me a link to the specific tape format you've got and I'll see if I've got a camera that will play it. If so, I could record from the old camera onto my new digital one, then dump it on the computer and output it into whatever format you'd prefer.
  9. Right back at you my friend. Hope 2008 is spectactular for you!
  10. Dark spiral in sky remains a mystery Despite their best efforts, a P.E.I. couple has been unable to determine what they saw falling out of the sky on Boxing Day. Marie Ford-Quigley and her husband watched a dark spiral descend from the clouds for more than half an hour from their home in North Tryon, just east of the Confederation Bridge. They filmed the event, but neither Environment Canada nor the Transportation Safety Board was able to identify it. Footage of a dark spiral filmed by a P.E.I. couple has been sent to Ufology Research of Manitoba. "It was total guesswork on someone's part [but] it could be a fighter jet maybe dropping fuel," she said. "If they're in trouble they drop it and they burn it at the same time, again total speculation. That's probably the best scenario we've heard at this point." Ford-Quigley said it will be hard to confirm the fighter jet theory. In the meantime, she's sending a video the couple shot to Ufology Research of Manitoba, a private, non-profit organization based in Winnipeg. http://www.cbc.ca/canada/prince-edward-island/story/2008/01/03/spiral-mystery.html
  11. Hey Steve! Long time no see. I hope you're doing well! Are you into fishing?
  12. Thanks. I ended up calling their support. Oh my god what a bunch of idiots. After being transferred 5 times and repeating the same answers to the same questions and then being left on hold for 20 minutes I was told that my points had been returned to me and was there anything else they could help with today. I laughed and repeated that I wanted to download the movie. Then, they finally told me that they were having problems and I should just try again next week. Boooooo! BTW, what's a FR or whatever you mentioned?
  13. Should I be able to download movies on my 360? I try and it gets through the purchase portion but fails before downloading any of the movie. When I run the networking tests they reveal a strict NAT. Anyone run into this sort of thing?
  14. Hands down some of the best music I've seen on that stage. The band were incredible. They were every bit as good as I remember plus about 5 years of polishing and maturity. WOW!!! The jam during Superstition made me fall to my knees and weep. If you put that band on stage every week, I would never miss a show.
  15. Well then it's pretty useless. ;-)
  16. Phil is such a great guy. I love Phil!
  17. I wish I could make it but I'm too drunk and bed sounds too good. Have fun everyone!
  18. Hey buddy! I just wanted to say Happy Birthday!!! (Just made it under the wire!) We see not enough of each other these days but I love you my brother. I hope you are celebrating in style!
  19. Surely to be a GREAT show. Grossman's is church for Caution Jam. The band was born from there.
  20. I'm thinking they'd be a good listen on acid.
  21. Actually, I just made one. That'll do the trick.
  22. I need them! Anyone got any? Kev? I'm just adding #24 into my collection but I've been trying to ensure everything has album art.
