  1. he's likely the first headliner, sparking other artists to submit their tapes for consideration.
  2. their first record is still one of my favourite all time records. check it out in headphones, newRider. It's pretty spectacular. Raw, Layered...i might just go buy it right now!
  3. I missed out - moving and such. Next time they'll have to kick it up!
  4. YAW!!! Jams in the afternoon then a show to make us swoon!
  5. So now you boss around the moderators of the board with your 'clout'? If it were anybody else I wouldn't care but for some reason I do. If you resign yourself to the fact that you're going to have scores more 'crises' then perhaps you'll be able to step back and have more presence of mind than to let us all know how severe these 'crises' are. Best of luck not being such a pussy when it comes to strangers' taunts.
  6. not at all a new venue... ...do you still have a copy of that show we saw, BradM?
  7. "I've got to practice my stroke on the Wii " I know you put in a winky for your dinky, but come now...you only need to work your Wii if you go home alone.
  8. does anybody know what popo weenie is ever talking about? Great heart. Healing head. Loads of soul. Aging body. Eat more bran.
  9. pfft! the Blarney Stone would've been sweet for these guys. Irish bar, loads of space...well maybe it'd have been too big. I say the railway's great for people that go to a bar for a bar not a band...huge place but not for a show. It'd have worked either at cafe deux soleils or at a jazz club too. hot toddy is a hot band.
  10. yeah! where's the video? I didn't send you that video of my naked ass by mistake did I? Hope you're not talking about that one...
  11. I personally think it's funny that there was a fight at a Ratdog show in Vancouver. Negative energy? You'd better stay far far far away from a heckuva lotta things before staying away from a thread about a fight that happened at a concert with a man that wears shorts all the time. Can't take the heat, gramps? but seriously... I had a good time at the show. glad I went.
  12. It was setbreak and LeshLush was trying to record me making out with my lady. We can get loud sometimes. Anyhow, I made fun of his windsock and right when he was comenting that it cut the highs out I popped him one and broke his nose. guy with cane vs. guy with glasses. it was an all out brawl. victory was indeed mine.
  13. How did you find out about my fight...i mean the fight in the taper section? You should have seen security hovering around the area lurking around the action, not realizing that something foul actually happened. it was fucking crazy. The dude's friends were all 'call an ambulance' and they just sat around while I looked on, nobody coming...not even a 'where's the other guy' or 'what did the guy look like' There were 4 taper rigs aside from the band mics. it was all behind the mics. blood...confusion. Shit, I didn't even know what went on.
  14. When there's soap and a shower you have no excuse to stink if you're someobody's guest. Just pray your cock doesn't fall off in their shower you stinking leper, someone will likely let you make breakfast for them some day. Quoting anonymous... "I don't know the guy, but you may want to point out to him, as well, that there are people on this Board, right in Toronto who normally offer a place to stay to almost anyone. Zero, though, has threatened everyone on this board, been belligerent, rude, and has intentionally tried to make himself appear dangerous. As a result, why would someone invite him to stay overnight among our families?" If you were in Van I'd say 'sure - come over' cause I know you genuinely appreciate the kindness you're shown but there's a point that's been firmly made and really, it wouldn't hurt to turn it down a notch.
  15. I'm the king of redundancy, as I repeat myself. I often state things explicitly more than once... ...so to add to this trend, i was hoping that I could find a spare ticket for Sunday's ratdog show as it it sold out. yowza!
  16. Anybody have a ticket for a sweet young thing? Looking for a miracle.
  17. I got the record before it hit the shelves and lent it away to the head bartender at my now closed bar (RIP Good Times)... one of the best records I don't have anymore. Duos seem to be the groups that act out and emote most freely of the numerical combinations.
  18. Dirtybird - bipolar and should never be an insult I think that #2 has seen enough of Zero and probably agrees with that sentiment. Some people are affected by bipolar mood disorders...many of these souls are incredibly talented and spirited... ...and sadly gone from this board.
  19. Zero didn't just disappear without an exit. Always contrived enough to dismiss his chance to be a legend. He's not totally gone. Maybe from this board but he's got some new heads he can try to hold his social and moral clout over. Too bad he can't just soak in the fall. Oh - lurkers beware - you will never truly confront your problems without being, active, present, honest, and forthright.

If someone has to ask that question, it sould not even be an issue enough to give the kiddies a number to play with. Someone should know when the right time is to freely seek out their life in diffeent perspectives. If they still don't know then they should wait.
  21. I don't see anything wrong with this list. Guitar gods don't always mena 'the best guitar players' Who ELSE are worshipped like these guys?? I wholeheartedly agree with the number 1. He's among the proest of the pro. 100% solid, a strong personality, and actually sounds unique. 1. John Mayer 2. Derek Trucks 3. John Frusciante - Red Hot Chili Peppers 4. Luther Dickinson - North Mississippi Allstars 5. Nels Cline - Wilco 6. Warren Haynes - Allman Brothers Band, Gov't Mule 7. Jim James & Cark Broemel - My Morning Jacket 8. Adam Jones - Tool 9. Kaki King 10. Mike McCready & Stone Gossard - Pearl Jam 11. Tom Morello - Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave 12. Ed O'Brien & Jonny Greenwood - Radiohead 13. Omar Rodriguez-Lopex - Mars Volta 14. Matt Pike - Sleep, High On Fire 15. Jack White - White Stripes, Raconteurs 16. Chuck Garvey & Al Schnier - Moe
