  1. Tooly - it's very important to recognize the difference between the concepts of 'being the same' and 'answering to the same interests'. The drug companies, WHO, and Gov'ts are certainly not the same entity, while it could be effectively argued that the system they've created and work within are all set up not for us but for their process. Don't turn into a tinfoil hat wearing whackjob...save the shielding for your signal path and your home.

    G20?

The point of protesting violently was to prove that the cops would be as bad as the violent protesters, or to protest peacefully and show how peaceful the police would be illustrate the respect (or lack thereof) the police have for G20 protests? I always thought that the point of protesting was a direct message, not an arrogant passive-aggressive 'who's better than who' display. Neither are truly effective. It's going to take the moderate masses using civil disobedience as a tool to express their frustrations and lack of confidence (in the powers that be and their decisions) for things to truly change.
  3. " to claim otherwise was disrespectful to those killed by the virus and their families."
  4. Maybe I should take the next day off work...

  6. Seems like an interesting time. Have a blast.
  7. Railroad Earth 2 night run in November? Looks like a nice little theatre.
  8. I wonder how else OZ is more laid back than Canada Under a grand worth of fines and a 10 month suspension? Pretty easy.

too bad it was your greg allman post that was number 666 and not this one.
  10. I would suggest to her that she merge the contracts before she cancels them if it's possible.
  11. I know you're trying to be funny, but when there are no fault lines or earthquake zones and no reason for an earthquake to occur and there is an earthquake, that's about the only time HAARP comes into any sort of discussion. There are loads of fault lines in this area and earthquakes are not uncommon, though a 5.5 is fairly noteworthy. quakes in the past week
  12. there were earthquakes all along the ring of fire today too. Japan, Alaska, California. Ours was the biggest.
  13. OTTAWA — A strong earthquake rattled Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec Wednesday afternoon. The epicentre of the quake was at Val des Bois, Que., according the the United States Geological Survey. The quake measured 5.5 and occurred at a depth of 19 kilometres, the USGS said. There were reports the temblor was felt as far away as Columbus, Ohio and Flint, Michigan. The quake struck at about 1:45 p.m. and lasted about 20 seconds. Citizen reporters are monitoring the story as it unfolds. Check ottawacitizen.com for the latest details. -Citizen
  14. "The 2010 Ontario earthquake occurred on June 23, 2010 and was felt across the Greater Toronto Area and in Ottawa. The Globe and Mail noted that reports on Twitter "suggest the earthquake was felt as far away as Ohio, New York and Michigan". This quake occured within minutes of quakes occuring in South Carolina, Southern California, and Southern Maryland.[1]" -wiki
  15. Southern ontario to Montreal to Vermont...felt all over, Schwa. My monitor here at work shook. It felt like a train was rolling right past the office.
  16. 1. I've never seen a blue screen of death with a mac - Sorry to read about it if that's your workhorse, Pablo. 2. This all boils down to a real thing vs. does-what-I-want discussion, which happens all over the internet. Digital gear will never do what analog gear does, even if you think it sounds the same. Not to say it can't sound great, but it's just not the same. iRig - very neat. Still just an iphone app. Would be super handy but probably not a realistic replacement for real gear. Jonyak: Glad to see another satisfied M9 user. That's one of the few things I've seen that I kinda want. for $400 (or so) a person can save a lot of space and weight...I know that my pedalboard's probably cost me somewhere around $700 and that's 4 pedals and a tuner + this and that. Would I buy what I did again? Probably.
  17. Which of these is the most offensive?
  18. Prohibition never solves anything. Free Landlines would be better.
  19. this new thing has way more carbs. Double down. I'd certainly TRY this one but would probably want to make 2 and make one with grilled Peanut Butter/pepper Jelly sandwiches, cut them both in 2 and share with someone. I wonder how much of that fat a person would really absorb.
  20. Now if only you could work your neighbourhood into a frenzy over a shared garden or community currency... Is there anything you'd be willing to support rather than denounce?
  21. Like you're looking for the story or you want to get ahold of him? Either way, I'm of no use. Chances are if you don't know you're probably not put out by it all...whatever 'all' it could have been.
  22. I hope they make one, cause that's the only way I'd make a small boobs joke... ...and why I can only joke around with pregnant women about being enormous.
  23. How did you ever theink there could be a debate, ollie. Buns/sauce, bottomless coleslaw.... ...and the chicken is better... ...and the drumsticks have ends (cut-end legs tend to indicate that the chickens could be from factory farms and damaged from being raised too fast (weak joints) and wading in ammonia-rich feces...which leads to chemical burns)
