  2. Nice - yup, they sound great together for sure! I wouldn't pay to see them though ;^)
  3. I agree that costs for seeing homegrown talent is way out of whack. Like Edger said - anything under a $10 cover charge for a night of live music is a steal!

  6. I kinda suspected I'd be taking the day off with Jesus and such........turns out I was right. Sorry to have missed it!
  7. mmmmmmmm - that sounds like a nice sleep backbacon! I had one of those yesterday. grateful_dave - it was an all bluegrass line-up. The other two were more mainstream bluegrass with Rhyme 'n Reason having a heavy bluegrass gospel influence. Nice to see a bunch of good folks out! Thanks for the support!
  8. I already posted one of their songs in the video section but I think they deserve some more attention. I can't get enough of them. Devil Makes Three are based out of California but all three members are originally from Vermont Looks like they're playing at Bonnaroo this year.
  9. We're not sure if we're on first or second but Dan thinks first. And, yeah, things will get going right at 3pm.
  10. Looking fwd to this! I believe The BLurry Pickers will be playing a 30-35 mins set.
  11. Nice talking to you today - hope you have a great night! Drink some drinks for drinks sakes.....and so you look handsome for your gal.

  13. so you're saying the fat lady will have already sung?!
  14. He should start each video off with; "Hi I'm Charlie Clean" I only watched part of the vid Esau posted but after hearing him say I figured I'd seen the best of it. Don't know where you can go from there or how you can beat that. Though; is a pretty sweet reference too!
  15. That brings me back.........I'm pretty sure they talk about this and show the "graded" letter from Phil on the "Anthem to Beauty" video release.
  16. don't know what time you're leaving on the 3rd but the Blackhawks are playing Tampa Bay SUN APR 3, 2011 6:00 PM They have 3 other games while you're there but the games are away games.....boo!

  18. Looks pretty cool - and a really neat idea! Hope it works for them! Doesn't semm like they're counting on the income from bands if it only seats 25.
  19. I might just pop over to the Avon Cemetary when I get home.
  20. nice - listening right now. The old-timey/lonesomeness to the songs is great. LOVE the high harmony. Love how smooth and understated the music is. organ, guitars....everything works.
  21. yeah, nice won (as in you're winning) c-towns. I saw they were opening for the Sadies (I think it was) recently and was checking out some of their youtube vids. Seems like the type of band I'd want to go see live to really soak in their sound.
