I've heard reports of it being toddlin', too. Aloha, Brad
  2. I'm ImitatedM and I approve that message. Aloha, Brad
  3. Happy Day, hamilton! Aloha, Brad
  4. Oops. My bad. I clicked on the venue info for the 6/12 show on DMB's tour dates, and down at the bottom, under "Additional Info", it says the show is sold out, but that page has no specific show info; my guess it they copied the sold-out bit from another page. Aloha, Brad
  5. The line-up for my "Bands That Have Opened For Dave Matthews Band" Festival just keeps getting better and better... Aloha, Brad
  6. DMB is also doing two Canadian dates on the summer tour: Tuesday, June 9, at the Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto, and Wednesday, June 10 at Parc Jean Drapeau in Montreal. I'm not sure who the opening act is for the Canadian dates. It also looks like the SPAC shows are sold out. http://tourdates.davematthewsband.com/ Aloha, Brad
  7. Aren't you a teacher? Make it a class field trip. Aloha' date=' Brad[/quote'] that's so crazy it just might work I'll bet Velvet could also get an educational discount for him and his student(s). It's also part performance, part clinic, so it'd be entertaining and educational. Aloha, Brad

  10. For a beginner, I might be tempted to spend less (or even nothing) on an amp, and give instructional material (books, CDs, DVDs, lessons, etc.). (Though a tuner would be a good idea regardless.) Aloha, Brad
  11. How much money were you looking to spend? How would the recipient be using the amp (e.g., practising by him/her self, or playing in a gigging band)? Aloha, Brad

Is it Bob Loblaw? Aloha, Brad

  14. It's done expectantly: the happy couple fully intends to ultimately use the services of the centre when they, still happy together after many decades, become senior citizens. Aloha, Brad
  15. Dread Clampitt's "Wrack & Ruin" album. Aloha, Brad
  16. They also have a neat bit of merchandise: you can buy a physical CD, or opt to buy a "download card" (I think that's what they called it), that's a thing about the size of (but of heavier stock than) a business card, decked out in the CD's logo/graphics, with a scratch-off bit on the back that gives you a code you can use to download the tracks. I bought a CD, so didn't really get a chance to dig into how (or from where) you get the tracks, but it seemed like a neat idea, and I haven't seen any other band sell music this way. Aloha, Brad
  17. You could look at Friday, March 13, 2009 as an opportunity to outdo, in Fridaythethirteentheness, Friday, February 13, 2009. Either strive to have a much better day, or, better yet, try to have as bad a day, as unlucky a day, as possible. Since it'll be an unlucky day, any attempts to have unlucky stuff happen to you will fail miserably, and things might work out for the better. Aloha, Brad
  18. There's another one in a month. Aloha, Brad
  19. Definitely go. They did a couple of cool covers tonight, a Joni Mitchell tune ("Help Me"), and then later a set-ending cover of Tom Waits' "Jockey Full Of Bourbon." Aloha, Brad
