    Go To Meal

For an actual cooked meal (as opposed to a peanut butter and banana sandwich, for example), it's probably omelettes for me, with the filling made from whatever's handy, typically some kind of deli meat (chicken, smoked turkey, black forest ham, etc.) and cheese. Aloha, Brad
  2. Harry Manx's MySpace page http://www.myspace.com/harrymanx lists only one as well: July 9. Aloha, Brad
  3. Then get thee to a much better party. http://collect.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=music.showDetails&Band_Show_ID=28997706&friendid=235692796 Aloha, Brad
  4. Do you mean the Lug Tread ale (which I also like)? (Beau's also has others, like Bog Water [a darker one, I think], but I haven't seen them on tap anywhere yet.) Aloha, Brad

  6. Apparently the 8GB iPhones are going to be $199. There are also new 3G models, with built-in GPS. Aloha, Brad
  7. No, that's kind of like bradm making a typo. In fact, it's exactly like bradm making a typo. Aloha, Brad
  8. Thanks, that's what I figured, but I've never been to a show there. (In fact, it's been a couple of years since I went there at all. Are there any interesting draft beer choices?) Aloha, Brad
  9. adambrot, is there a cover charge tonight? Aloha, Brad

    NXNE Toronto

I know The John Henrys are playing at The Dakota Tavern as part of NXNE on Thursday, June 12, which is a show I'd try to be at if I were in Toronto. Aloha, Brad
  11. Yup, I'm going to try. I won't be using the big rig (with the big mics and the big stand, which I doubt I could safely set up at The Manx), but I'll bring a small one and see what I can get. Aloha, Brad
  12. It's not just 1/2 or 3/4 of an MMJ show; you get that, plus a full (opening) set of The Besnard Lakes. Aloha, Brad
  13. I was at Le National for Gov't Mule back in September (on a Friday, IIRC), and I think the show ended past midnight. I think you might be able to catch that bus, but you should have a backup plan in place in case you miss it, or be prepared to leave Le National by 11:45pm at the latest to make sure you get on it. Aloha, Brad
  14. I'm planning on showing up for this. Is anyone else interested? Aloha, Brad
  15. In Ottawa (and down through Southern Ontario), summer kicked in this weekend, with temperatures in the high 20s to low 30s, and humidex readings up into the high 30s. There were also a lot of unstable air masses, and even tornado warnings for areas down near Toronto. Aloha, Brad

    Bonnaroo talk

Just a guess: "BFE" stands for "Bonnaroo Front Entrance"? Aloha, Brad
  17. Happy Birthday, Northern Wish! Aloha, Brad
  18. Of the two, I think the audience source sounds a bit better, and if you only want to listen to one of the two, that's the one, but if you have a chance sometime, the stage source is interesting to listen to as well; it has a bit more of an in-your-face feel to it. Aloha, Brad
  19. The stage source http://www.archive.org/details/gtb2007-10-06.sp-bmc3-stage.shnf or the audience source http://www.archive.org/details/gtb2007-10-06.oktava-aud.shnf ? Aloha, Brad
