i got irritated, said "fuck this", wondered what kind of security leaks gmail has that it won't work with upgraded security, continued to be creeped out by the "you NEVER have to delete anything!!!" gmail taglines (yes, i want to keep all those penis pump ads forever and ever!), and then went on my merry way not using gmail very much & adding "delete shit from my gmail account at another computer" to the bottom of my list of things to do.

and for the record, i like hearing good music in commercials. it doesn't bother me at all when bands allow their songs to be used in commercials. if it's good music, it ups the company's street cred! ha. plus it's a great way to discover new bands. and i'd much rather listen to ween or nouvelle vague pumping out of my tv than that fucking kelsey's song.

i wouldn't wait TOO long on this one. ween hasn't been to toronto since 2003, and that was a sold out show (it was GA too). i've been hearing a lot of buzz about this show, not just all over the internet, but in many random real life places too. i would be surprised if this one doesn't sell out. (you should still be fine with next week though, prost) by the way, the highly anticipated new album will be released the tuesday before the show!!!

okay this is effing stupid, i AM a house of blues member and i can't find the password. there is also no mention anywhere of the toronto presale on ween's site or the ween forum. the password for the other presales is not working. i got that HOB email too with all the presales, but where are the passwords? has anyone actually had any luck getting tickets? or is HOB full of shit?

A man was found hanging inside a two-story-high tent this morning, said the federal Bureau of Land Management, which oversees the festival on the Black Rock Desert in northern Nevada. The man's identity has not been released pending notification of his family. He dangled for two hours before anyone in the big tent thought to bring him down, said Mark Pirtle, special agent in charge. "His friends thought he was doing an art piece," he said. So far, an estimated 36,000 people have arrived at the gathering, with 46,000 expected by the time things end Saturday with the burning of a 40-foot-tall wooden man. Earlier this week, a participant set the structure ablaze and was charged with arson. Burning Man organizers say the man will be rebuilt in time for the official burn.

so, this may not be a suicide attempt at all. apparently people who might try to kill themselves are easier and cheaper to insure for working on motion pictures than drug addicts are (a la lindsay lohan). so... publicist spins a drug overdose into a suicide attempt and owen wilson's future career is less worse for the wear. hollyweird is a strange place. in any case, i am glad he's still alive & hope he's better soon.
