weezy
wtf? Suprnova.org and a bunch of other torrent sites are gone forever. Some kind of lawsuit shizzle goin down I guess... (something to do with this I think) Anyone know of some good alternative bt sites?
Guest Low Roller
Well it was fun while it lasted. I was on there just last night, and I managed to download a bunch of things. There ain't too much left. EZtorrent is capped out for resgisted users, so unless you have an existing account there ain't much hope. I guess it's back to the newsboards. bouche
weezy, I feel like I've lost a friend! man, I visited that site on a daily basis. I don't know how they can actually even attempt to sue or charge a website that isn't actually sharing files. These law people have definately crossed the line. scottieking
This is not fu©king fair nor funny! I start my Christmas holidays getting ready to get caught up on some TV I missed and my favorite source is gone. Not only that but Phoenix, Torrent Reactor. I missed the big court case, I guess, but these guys just folded like a cheap suit.
CyberHippie
Yeah it was a great source for TV. I kept putting off downloading Lost and Soprano's season 4. Damn!!

bouche
I wish the networks would just setup BitTorrent so we can watch what we missed. An advertising version or an ad-free one with a small fee would cover the b-model. It would be better than paying for scheduled TV packages and they could get around broadcasters. Idea copyrighted 2004 - Mike Bouchard Does anyone here have an account with Elite Torrents?
Guest Low Roller
Your idea may be sound, however no network would ever go for it because of lost revenue from TV commercials and DVD sales, and it would compete directly with the whole digital TV recorder market that the networks can have a closer grasp on. Freeker
Well now they're fu©king with the legal sites. Archieve.org has been down all morning and Bt.etree keeps dissappearing and reappearing.....Very frustrating since I'm trying to make christmas presents. bradm
There's a recent Slashdot article on the shutdown. And, if you follow the link Booche put up, and view the HTML source, you can read the original FAQ; all they've done is comment out the original HTML and add in the new [color:"purple"]content. Freeker
Well between Boxtorrent, Loki and the Suprnova lite mirror...Things are almost back to normal. Sure is a pain compared to the relative ease that was Suprnova, but at least all is not lost.
