Slip in Montreal

IIRC, Rene Levesque is down at the South end of St. Laurent, while the venue is 'way further up (even further up from where Le Swimming was; IIRC, Le Swimming was in the 3300s on St. Laurent, while Main Hall is 5390 St. Laurent). Does anybody know of any decent hotels near (within, say, a few blocks of) the venue (in the Mile End part of St. Laurent)?

Aloha,

Brad

And that's another reason they invented the Taxi ;)

Does anybody driving from Ottawa have room for me? I can be ready to hit the road by 4pm or 5pm on Thursday, and I'd rather not have to rely on the bus. Gas and hotel will, of course, be split equally. (My aim is to be checked into the hotel by 8pm, to allow time to get to the venue for when the doors open, as I'm hoping to tape the show, and will need time to get in location and get set up.)

Aloha,

Brad

I'm going to the show via Ottawa and I believe I have an extra seat in the car if you're interested Brad. That is of course if you don't have dreadlocks and a needle sticking out of your arm. But I don't get the impression you do so...

Offer's on the table

Catch, however, is we don't plan on staying in Montreal but everything else is kosher.

Cowboy, the guy to the left of Bob looks kind of like a bald version of you. With more beard though. Like a bald yet younger you?

that pic is of bradm and POG the last time I saw The Slip in Hamilton. We were watching Inappropriate Survey I think it was called!?!?

Thorngor was our man with the remote and kept flipping it to the porn channel..it was pretty damn funny!

I think bradm is my age (37)?

confirmation?

OK, it looks like I'll be riding with YATS. Yee-haw!

Will there be anybody in attendance who will be knowledgable and together enough as the night progresses to keep a set list for me? My knowledge of Slip song titles is limited, at best. (Does the band use set lists?)

Aloha,

Brad
