Guest Low Roller
I don't remember saying that Samsonov was not a disappointment. The Habs obviously expected ridiculous things from the Samsonov/Kovalev combo.
dave-O
Let's see if this jogs your memory:Samsonov was never a scorer so why do people expect him to be one?

Guest Low Roller
That was probably Lynn posting as Booche. I can tell because it was obviously written by a woman. Only girls try to call out fibbers.

Blane
jesus, the Habs are in serious need of some firepower. Not one player getting a point per game. They need to bring in a goal scorer, stat.
Booche
Hey Blane, you would have to go back to the 1994-1995 season (something like that) to find the Habs with their leading scorer getting at least a pt per game.
badams
It has been awhile. I'm not sure who would be available and at what price but I would like to see it too. However they have had a good first half ( even with the recent problems ) and I wouldnt want to mess too much.Hey Booche, can you score?
Booche
Well, it was the 1995-1996 season.Pierre Turgeon had 96 pts in 80 games.Vincent Damphousse had 94 pts in 80 games. And Mark Recchi had 78 pts in 82 games.

Guest Low Roller
The Habs were back at practice yesterday. Some notes that I've gathered from my obsessive reading: - It was the longest planned practice until the end of the season- 1:45 of ice time. - Huet and Souray were not present. - Begin was back practicing with the team. - Carbonneau was not satisfied with Lapierre's second stint with the club hence why he was sent back to Hamilton. - Murray will be given another chance to prove himself. - To replace Huet, the equipment handler was asked to play in nets. He sucked.

Hmm, nobody around here (UK) cares about hockey, maybe I'll go to the one place where I might be able to talk freely."You're a hurtful commie hippie.
