Hux
I'm a causal S&G fan and picked this up for like $10 not expecting much but was blown away. Great mix of tunes including a bunch of solo Simon, it now ranks among my favourites - BUY IT YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED! Concert in central park 1981. Esau.
I'd be curious to see all of those! Who is "In Griot Time" about?Actually, that wasn't suppose to be listed as a DVD, its a book. I sort of cut & pasted a bit too quickly from a world music list of Books/CDs/DVDs I posted about on another board. The book is by Banning Eyre, the CD is called In Griot Time: String Music From Mali.http://www.banningeyre.com/pages/igt_index.htmlI haven't read the book, but the CD is fantastic. balogna pogna
The Umphrey's New Years DVD is really good if you are into them and the Zappa Plays Zappa DVD which just came out is really good too.Bob Dylan's "Don't look Back" is awesome too.One that surprized me was Peter Gabriel's Secret World Live 1994 DVD as I wouldn't say I'm a huge fan or anything.I've got so many right now it's hard to pick a favorite.
