Schwa.
every win is 1 step further from John Taveres. Lose Leafs Lose!!
Guest Low Roller
Given the season that Tavares is having, he's dropped out of top spot for prospects and may not be the top draft pick in the upcoming draft. Victor Hedman from Sweden is the top rated prospect according to the ISS.
ForbinHood
He's second in scoring in the O. Thats not a bad season so far as far as Im concerned. And if the Leafs got the number 1 draft pick with their affection for Europeans you know that Tavares is probably going elsewhere. Don Cherry would probaby have a cow too.My thoughts are if they are in the lottery and dont get number 1 look for Burke to make a trade upwards. Whitey
Tavares is doing well, but not as well as Taylor Hall. He is ripping up the Ohl along with the Spitfires. Hall is not draft eligble until 2010.

AD
impressive move, but is that not illegal in a shootout? once he started that spin didn't the puck lose forward momentum?can someone clarify that rule?
Schwa.
wicked move! don't know it's legality though although one would assume that since there was absolutely no argument from coach Sutter it was perfectly legal. Kanada Kev
I heard Ron Wilson on the radio last night in the post game press conference. He said that the NHL had eased up on the rules slightly for the shoot-out. Basically, as long as there is forward movement by the player, and they don't stop, it's ok. He said that it's different when it's a penalty shot. So, i guess the rules for penalty shots are a little different than the shoot-out.

Booche
What the hell happened in this game tonight? There was some crazy scoring going on. I looked at the end of the 1st and I think it was 2-1 for Boston. 8-5 finish?Jesus.
Kanada Kev
Win 7 goals? Williams again! Do NOT send this kid back down to the Marlies.
hamilton
The Leafs played well, but were definitely helped out by some poor defensive play from the Penguins. Who gives a fuck - I'll take it!!
Jaimoe
The most impressive thing about last night's game was Ruslan Fedotenko eagerly dropping the gloves (and holding his own) with Leaf "heavyweight" Andre Deveaux. I've always liked Ruslan's game, but now I like it even more. Edited December 21, 2008 by Guest

hamilton
The Leafs are on a bit of a roll here. Pretty good game from Pogge. Now let's see how they handle Dallas...
LXQ42
Pogge just needs some seasoning, I think he will be a replacement for toskala. Hey, if Clemmenson is an NHL guy...with many more years..too bad pogge is average this year...
badams
It's about time the Leafs called up Pogge. Now trade Toskala for some picks and play Pogge. The future starts now TO fans...
