Hal Johnson
Did Damien Cox turn it into an anti-fighting column anyway? Yes, or Yes. Hahaha...that's great.
dave-O
Yeah it's an overdone joke, but I roared at the Damien Cox and "Dammit Pronger!" bits.
TheSloth
The Pronger bit made me laugh. Just to clarify, this flow chart only applies to the 08/09, right?

Just to clarify, this flow chart only applies to the 08/09, right?Actually, you're right. A friend who works for the NHL said that this chart went around the office (as a joke) at some point last season.
Guest Low Roller
Markus Naslund is pulling a Favre and announced his unretirement after only six months. He's going to play for the KHL team Modo, alongside Peter Forsberg. Both players apparently refuse to be paid and are playing "for the love of the sport". I wonder how that would fly in a union-choked salary cap environment? Reading between the lines: No contract = no issues with jumping to the NHL whenever they feel like it. Guest Low Roller
Not Doug Weight. His first season was 91-92.I just confirmed a suspicion I had, and in fact TSN was wrong. There are FIVE players left who played in the 80's... so two more to go.

dave-O
Rob Blake is a good call, he must be one. I was going to say Owen Nolan, but I think he was the #1 pick overall in the 1990 draft... so no.
