Ol'Hickster
I LOVE egg salad and was wondering how do you skanks make your egg salad? What do you put in it, how do you spice it up?

PalacePrincess
i am very picky with the simplicity of my egg salad:- MUST be miracle whip, not mayo- eggs grated with a cheese grater- pepper- pinch of curry. my grandma gave me that tip, it really does make for some egg salad magic.- squishy cheap white bread is the preferable mode of delivery. the best is that wonder bread made specifically for sandwiches that is perfectly square. yum! Jaimoe
Second the mustard recommendation. Make it good mustard though like original French's and any of their specialty mustards that are a little spicy. Screw the no-name crap.
jaybone
Original French's simply can not be defined as good mustard. Sorry.

Ms.Huxtable
Here's my ideal egg salad - keep it simple.EggsHellmans MayoDry yellow mustard (powder)Chives or finely chopped green onionsChopped Bacon (real bacon kids, leave the synthetic bits in the store for the trailor folk)salt, pepperAnd yes, I like dill pickle in my egg salad but I like it even more in my tuna salad. I can eat egg salad without pickle, but I wouldn't dream of making tuna salad without it.
