Hartamophone Posted January 15, 2009 Report Share Posted January 15, 2009 If ever there was a band meant to play at George's Roadhouse in Sackville, NB, it's the United Steelworkers of Montreal. The place is a bona fide roadhouse, on a lonely road across from the train station on the outskirts of town. That will be a beauty of a gig, I'm sure.As for this end of the country, I suppose it's greedy of me to wish they were playing Victoria again. Between gettin up at 3:30-4am and our usual intake of booze and other treats, and trying staying warm on a frozen lake (as we don't always waste money on a hut) until 6pm, then the drive home, clean the fish, cook and eat/drink more, the last thing I wanna do at 10pm is go out, let alone to Toronto.
