Booche
Team 990 is reporting of an incident in the Habs dressing room last week following the OT loss to St Louis. Apparently Markov confronted Price. "If your not going to play with heart stay home"Badams, I'll give you Corey Stillman for Price.

Guest Low Roller
I wonder why the league would block Laraque's transfer to the Swedish league? Presumably Laraque is willing to waive his no-movement clause to make the deal happen which should be the only hurdle. Is it perhaps to stop a precedence setting way of clearing up cap space before the trade deadline?

Guest Low Roller
[color: purple]Surely not. Embattled goalies and superstar D-men always hug at center ice.
Booche
If Cammy is lost for the season we can only pray Gainey doesnt do something stupid like trade for a quick fix solution. Gainey needs to do the right thing for once and let this season play out as it started. Hell, he is going to be able to convince ownership that his job isnt at stake thanks to all these injuries so its important to leave it alone because nothing is going to make this team competitive in 2009-2010. Guest Low Roller
D'Agostini called back up... That does not bode well for any news on Cammalleri.
Booche
Dags was sent down as a conditioning stint so he was coming back no matter what and did you see Cammy's leg go into the baords? He's gotta be out at least 3-4 weeks with that thing but dont be surprised if its the rest of the year. That didnt look good.

badams
The news could be better, but then it could be a lot worse for the Montreal Canadiens. Forward Mike Cammalleri's knee injury is not season-ending but sources say it's an MCL injury that is likely to keep him out of the lineup for six to eight weeks.Given the NHL will be shut down for two weeks for the Olympics, Cammalleri won't miss as many games as he would in a non-Olympic year but it's a still a significant blow to the Canadiens' offence to have him out of the lineup for likely a minimum of 14 games and perhaps longer than that.
