dave-O
Stay Positive opener on HNIC!!I thought that was better than the game....Yeah, elimination games that go to OT sure do suck.
Booche
So much talk of trading Spezza today....His NTC clause kicks in this July, that's why the talk is out there. Well, that and Volchenkov. Do the Sens resign him, Cullen and Sutton while riding themselvs of Spezza or do they keep Dumbo? There's your Sens talk until the draft.
rubberdinghy
I think it's a tough one...In 60 games he did have 57 points.I don't know....I just don't know

rubberdinghy
Nothing like being able to re-start the party with some nero ass-kicking!I was boo-hoo baby for about twenty minutes...Watched some nero, talked it out with Sloth, got drunk...Works everytime! Guest Low Roller
Since they can't win one in real life, sounds like Ottawa is going to BUILD A GIANT f'n STANLEY CUP STATUE. Apparently the NCC has green-lit the project which would see a 20m tall statue of the Cup, which has its origins in Ottawa. No site has been picked yet, but there is talk of building it somewhere around where Lord Stanley used to live in Ottawa, but I can't find that info (didn't look too hard). Northern Wish
He was the Governor General at one point so I am sure he lived at Rideau Hall.
Guest Low Roller
Yes, that makes sense I suppose. Why not build the statue out in Orleans or, even better, Kempville? Ottawa loves to build important Ottawa venues out in the fucking sticks.
rubberdinghy
It'll end up at Scotiabank Place.
Northern Wish
0% chance of that: If its an NCC project, it will end up on NCC land.
Booche
It'll end up at Scotiabank Place. Yes, because we all know how synonymous the words Stanley Cup and Ottawa Senators are.

ollie
Isn't there already a monument like this in Ottawa? I remember it got a bit of press a few years ago because it was vandalized/stolen. Anyone else remember that?
rubberdinghy
Yeah, there's a plaque at the above mentioned spot right outside the laundromat....It's since been replaced.

Booche
Looks like Sens fans can NEVER EVER EVER make fun of the Leafs for their cup futility. Way to go, losers.
localcrew
Anything we can hold against the Leafs is well earned. Especially since we've accomplished more than they have since our latest incarnation. They've existed for sixty years more than us and only have a couple more cups than us to show for it.And what of you my friend-are you one of those Hab bandwagon jumpers?
