Big Wooly Mammoth
argh. they will be in the NYC area one week before my family and I will be there. and if we weren't going to NYC the VT show would be on the way back home from tanglewood where we will be seeing James and Carole on July 3 and 4. I would cancel the NYC trip, but I booked a hotel through Priceline.
Basher
Hmm, not really all that interested in the Further thing, but seeing "Highland Bowl" on that list (especially on a Friday night) piques my interest - that Phil show there was so much fun. Northern Wish
I would cancel the NYC trip, but I booked a hotel through Priceline. One solid tip I have for Priceline is to ALWAYS pay the $5 trip cancellation insurance. Not just in situations like these, but its worth it incase you get a hotel you don't like or isn't where you want.....

The lawn slopes down toward Lake Champlain, with the high peaks of the Adirondack Mountains in the distance on the other side. As long as the weather cooperates, it should be a beautiful night. bradm
You don't supposed they'd tack an Ottawa Bluesfest date on the end of that tour, do you?Aloha,Brad

The Highland bowl and the Art park shows are totally on my list of shows to see.The recording I've heard from this band are really stellar. They seem to have hit on a winning chemistry. jazzyjeff
Wow, for the first leg there are so many great venues not too far away.We stayed in Herkimer once for GD in Albany. It is such a small place. I have never heard of this castle venue.Sounds fun.
Velvet
Like that Rochester venue a lot and I totally got my fingers crossed that they'll be at Bluesfest.
mark tonin
Ditto on the Rochester Highland Bowl venue ... I really enjoyed Phil Lesh / Levon Helm show there a couple of summers ago. Having said that, I won't be able to make it to Rochester for this show, as the timing doesn't work. Artpark is definitely possible though!Peace, Mark

Northern Wish
You don't supposed they'd tack an Ottawa Bluesfest date on the end of that tour, do you?Aloha,BradWouldn't even need to be at the end.... No shows listed on July 6 or 7th; and the routing from the 5th in VT to the 8th in Buffalo would be quite effecient.

Hartamophone
I'm leaning towards that Vermont show! Damn, looks like a nice location and kids 12 and under are FREE!!!It really is a stunning venue. Really just a hill sloping down towards the lake, plus it's just down the road from Burlington, so there are a ton of places to stay.
