balogna pogna
With Alice in Wonderland earning over $100 million dollars this weekend, audiences (and theater owners) seem particularly receptive to 3D films. In this context comes news that a 3D film presenting Phish in concert is expected to hit theaters next month. Phish 3D will present footage recorded at last year’s Festival 8 event. While an official release date has yet to be announced, a website has just launched, along with an accompanying Facebook page. Thus far, the most commercially-successful 3D concert films have been Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: The Best of Both Worlds Concert and U2 3D , the latter of which was produced by jambands.com publisher, Peter Shapiro.http://www.phish3dmovie.com/

Northern Wish
Thanks! And thanks for the weird ass dreams last night. After reading your posts before logging off of the computer, your user name must have slipped into the back of my brain....I had a dream about investing in a rolling paper company. The papers came in a small tin similar to Altoids, and were called "killatokes". How bizarre, how bizarre....

Basher
Do you think they'll be showing it in TO once it's fully released?I'm not optimistic about that. This is the same company that did a DMB 3D movie last year (I think) and I don't know that that played in Toronto.
ge-off
I'm betting it'll be like Bittersweet motel... Toronto will get it.. but probably not for a few months (6 maybe?) which sucks balls.. :2cents:
