Booche
Are the Jays mathematically eliminated yet from the post season?
Hal Johnson
Aren't they adding a one game wild-card playoff? Still, the answer to your question is yes.I like Darvish but I don't know if its worth it. They still have so many missing pieces.
Jaimoe
The Jays do need another quality starter, and Darvish is the best "free agent" pitcher available. He has stunning stuff and a proven international track-record. I'd like to see AA add another power-bat. Exciting news, potentially.
Thorgnor
I think with a few more names like Darvish and Bautista it gets easier to convince others that this could be a winning club. We need a killer ss.

Jaimoe
Great game. I'm in Cleveland right now and will be at the game on Sunday: 20 rows or so up from the Jays dugout.
Booche
Really Jays fans? Booing the closer? It was the first home game of the year and his first game as a Jay. Was that really necessary?
badams
It's way too early to Boo him that much but 2 blown saves already in the year does not put a lot of faith in him.Hopefully he'll rebound.
Hal Johnson
The Jays only have about 12 thousand fans who know anything about baseball. The other 36 thousand just show up for opening day and post the pics on FB.
Northern Wish
I really want to get excited for the Jays this season, but watching that game unravel last night only reminded me why I stopped getting excited for them about 15 years ago.Brutal!Edit to add:OK I'm overreacting alot, its a long season.Tonight is much better. Kanada Kev
great game tonight. Was watching while my son was at baseball practice (winter training since Nov!) Gotta love it any time the Red Sox or Yankees get thumped by the Jays :D Damn, game 3 is tomorrow at noon? I'm going to be so tempted to leave work to watch the game. Goddam NHL playoffs are making work busy as fuck though. SHIT. PLAY BALL!
Kanada Kev
Fuck Yeah! Too bad Romero couldn't complete the game, but he did a great job. Santos gets his save. Third time's a charm i guess GO JAYS GO
