Corona Theatre. The presale for those tickets sold out in 10 minutes.I love The Avett Brothers pre sales as they are a bit more transparent than most as they announce exactly how many tix are available for each show. Jaimoe
Great venue and great neighbourhood. I saw them the last time they came to town and they were awesome, even in the Phoenix.

Northern Wish
Do you have the presale info to share?I can only find the Red Rocks mailer.I suppose now that you were referring to the Montreal show, as the Toronto announcement contains this note:These shows will be going up for email list pre-sale on February 21 at noon local market time! Stay tuned for more information! Edited February 15, 2012 by Guest

Jaimoe
The Danforth Music Hall is undergoing another extensive renovation. The lobby has been gutted and it looks like there'll be more room to mingle. Basher should know what else to expect in the hall itself.

c-towns
Did anyone get the presale info email yet? My understanding is that you can only try for one show at a time leaving 2 nights in Toronto possibly hard to get.

Kanada Kev
I think I saw that they only had 112 tix for each night. Good job getting in! They went fast. I meant to go for Wednesday, but I didn't want to tempt fate and lose the tix I had secured. Whatev. Gonna be a fun night.

It will be interesting to see what sort of turnout they get in la Belle Province. Makes me think of Yonder's rather small but very fun show in Montreal in 2007 (of which which our taper-in-residence made a great recording), although I would expect a bigger turnout for the Avetts. Northern Wish
I bet they sell it out.The Avetts are a on tear right now, and have played Burlington a bunch over the last few years. Surely the word has spread.

And whether or not they sell it out, it will certainly be an intimate show compared to venues like the Bonnaroo main stage or Red Rocks.

dave-O
The Corona Theatre is great venue BTW. Small old theatre, with good sight lines. I'm going to gamble that it doesn't sell out, and I can get a ticket (no fees) day of.
