I'm running the stream on the laptop which is running windows. I had it on briefly upstairs on my iMac and I think that same thing happened. I wasn't paying close attention, but all of a sudden I realized that my upstairs stream was about 1 song behind downstairs. That may have been the same symptom. unfortunately, that doesn't help. it seems to be running fine at the moment. nice "the weight". Mr. Helm sounds great. He's got a fantastic lineup of musicians. Allstar cast really.

I commented above about Darling nikki, but I didn't realize it was an extended/EP version. I wish there were prince parties in Ottawa. I might have to set one up.

fuck. as much as I am intrigued by extreme weather, hurricanes are capable if wiping alot of things out. This weekend, many people are enjoying the long weekend with music, sunshine, sailing, ballooning, floating, laying, etc... but anyone in that path is in a very shitty place.

excellent webcast! had it cranked last night during uMelt and moe. bela with moe was killer. Mario Kart Wii is so much more fun with moe.down for the sound track. it's cool cause you turn down the tv, and all the soundeffects that you need (stuff flying at you that you need to dodge) comes through the controller!

Darling Nikki is one of his greatest vocal performances. There is nothing like it. I don't even think there is an influence out there. Pure Prince. i'm going to add some Minneapolis Genius... I haven't listened to that in a while, but it's a bunch of prince demos from the 70's. Every instrument is Prince.

i'm impressed with the change of address and mail forwarding service. I'm getting a bunch of mail that I didn't expect and they manage to pick up the old address and forward it to the new address. I'm so perplexed on how they pull that off.

hahah... my imeem prince buddy! we've recently unpacked all of my vinyl and I think prince takes up a whopping 10 percent or more of the collection. He put out lots of vinyl. I should add more stuff to my imeem profile and share. I haven't used that site in a while. I can't believe that all the prince I put up previously has not been taken down.
