I got an email today from bluesfest letting me know that I should get an email wednesday morning with the lineup announcement. I'll try and post it pronto-like.

i loved that movie. i didn't know ryan adams when I first saw the movie. nice to know.

I was posting about this a couple of weeks ago after I discovered that they were playing in Ottawa. When I saw the clips of their movie, I kinda wanted to see them. Funny looking movie indeed.

we were at a record shop today in burlington and I saw a good number of recent releases (moe., wood bros., and many others I can't remember) on vinyl. i wonder if they'll be on board here?

Actually, after that one, I thought perhaps another request was in order and I asked brad to get a "one of us standing" and he nayed it saying something like "we don't really have that one". I think they have a mostly rehearsed set of tunes. they must though...after seeing some video that we captured with sharon's camera, I noticed marc's feet perfectly playing melodies on the midi thing while playing bass. That shit is cool and I don't notice it live. that was so fucking gorgeous. i got treated to a private rehearsal of that pre-show when I slipped (pun intended!) backstage for a couple candids. They told me they were practicing a gospel number and asked me to shoot it. it was a very nice moment. He wins the toaster award. I didn't realize how trashed he was until in between every song when he yelled something at the band. "we love you!" "we dressed up for you!" "hey brad!" etc. i heard mr.taylor almost got booted after ordering 5 shooters for himself! what a party animal.

for the sake of all goodness, I realized that I had my edirol (recording device) with me and a cable. I met a taper named jonah who was happy to have another device to play with and he set it up and recorded the show which I am supposed to send to him so he can mix the 2 sources (his and mine). so I actually have a sweet sound board of this show along with 500+ photos. !!

dave-o. get any external hd that you want. FS has deals ALL the time. you might save money by purchasing an enclosure and a harddrive from your local nerd shop. with mac/windows, you can just setup filesharing and you'll be fine. I don't think the format matters to be honest. I have setup my mac and pc to share files and i didn't have to worry about ntfs or fat32.

I'm sure it would have been fine. I really can't find anything on the club, allthough it seems that it's related or part of Main Hall.

Did anything happen last night at Honky Tonk Tuesdays? I know Blane isn't around, but someone must have heard something. I had a frantic email from a guy looking for blane who heard SMMD was going to do a surprise gig at some club and was hoping to get a taper there. I just got the email, and we're a day late here.
