  5. I was Fishman side for NYE at the side of the stage. There was actually a "Sarah" who did climb down the ladder. Once she was down the ladder her and Fishman did a switch as she was walking towards the stage. They were both in identical clothes. At the end of the show when the boys came front stage Fishman walked behind his amp where Sarah was waiting and they did a switch. So, it wasn't Fishman who took the bow, it was actually Sarah. It was pretty funny to watch. When the boys went off stage Fishman was still behind the amp and tried to walk off unnoticed. Of course the people who raged the side stage saw all this. Great prank!
  6. Sending vibes to you and your family. I saw him in barrie at an art show a couple summers ago. I bought one of his beads.
  7. His record label confirmed he passed away. Died in Athens Georgia.
  8. Hope you can get rid of them Jay. I remember in 03 you couldn't throw tickets away for the 28, 29th shows. I'm looking for 2 on the 31st for a friend if anyone know anyone with extras.
  9. These guys are super fun. I met the guitar player and banjo player at Hornings string Cheese a bunch of summers ago. Have seen them a few times live and it's been good times. They did great traditional Going Up and the Brown Eyed women was great. Good jamgrass, come check. I'm sorry. Won't be able to mAke it.

  11. Haha! I deserved that one. Of course I know google still exhists. But I figured if I came to the community that knows all someone would have a great suggestion. I too can google but why not ask first and see the response.
  12. Thanks for the help. Can't wait to play around with it. What about tutorials or pages on how to navigate around the computer. Like I know if you use two fingers you can make the text bigger or something along those lines.
  13. This weekend I'm going to buy a MAC book pro. I'm going to upgrade my hard drive space on it. Any suggestions on what else I should or could upgrade. Anything I can read, online tutorials or a good book to help me with adjusting? I have question like is there a different torrent program I should be running, can I still run utorrent? Will my Iphone and ipod work no problem on my MAC even though it was set to a PC before. So, any help would be much appreciated!
  14. Christmast must be tonight was beautifully done. I love that tune. I listen to Too Kingdom Come on a regular basis. Cully and I rawk a mean version together!
  15. WE got there a little after 10 and the line-up was outside. I spoke to the door guy and he eventually let the line up in and we lined the stairs. It wasn't super busy inside but I think they recently got busted for overcrowding so were being extra careful. We ended up going in with some smokers who had been outside so didn't have to wait too long. Look Out Houston was great, the guitar player from the Golden Dogs was great. Who was the shorter guitar player part of the house band with the high voice? He sang on I shall be Released?
  16. Its a great little venue, I worry it will be super packed. We are going to have some dinner in the market and then go check it out.
  17. I'm going to meet some friends at the Vapo place and we are going to grab a bite to eat. I can't find anymore info then what was posted here. So, I plan on checking it out early to assess the situation. Will post when I get some info.
  18. This looks great! I'm going to check it out forsure! Wonder if Collett is going to be there.
  19. I have done this festival 4 times. Its very family friendly and intimate. A great workshop stage as well. two years ago they moved to another location. Not as beautiful as the last but still small intimate grounds. I've seen bands like YMSB, Railroad Earth, hot buttered Rum, Old and in the Grey and uncle Earl. Always a great line-up and not far from home.

  21. Just saw them in Toronto. They played a great show! Probably about 75 people at the St. Lawrence theatre. Ended up moving to the second row for the second set. These guys really love to play.
  22. Mars Hotel played at the Elmo a couple years ago. They are tight, lots of fun. Some of the them play in other bands as well. The bassist plays in King Sunshine I think. Will be a good night of music.
