Days of You? There's a blast from the past. Fun shows. Was friends with their sound guy. Got to have fun going with him over to the guy's studio who invented the Mandala thing (way early virtual reality interactive music thingy in front of a green screen) that they used to perform with on stage. (got us into the Hockey Hall of Fame Inductions one year since that technology was used in one of their displays on being a goalie).

Hey Ollie. Totally agree with ya. I caught this on my laptop at the airport in Charlotte yesterday. Watcher was fantastic. I can understand for people who've never heard that era Genesis and aren't familiar with that material may not "get it" on the first listen. I wanted to hear more!!! But not that "No Reply At All" I love my Phish with horns, but not on that Maybe now that they've played it, some Phisheads will give old Genesis a try. I've always pictured Phish nailing it in their own way (i remember posting something of the like on the interwebs wayyyy back in the stone age).

My buddy was there with a connection from Universal. Said it was an absolute blast! Said the band were super friendly after the show and hanging out with everyone. Too bad it was at the Docks and tix were $60? Supposedly Live Nation snagged the show from the original production. Tix were to be $12, but when Live Nation takes over they fly the band up, pay them $10K and then charge more than 4x what it would have been Hopefully they'll come back.

The only bit of this show i've seen is the following clip with Ricky Gervais: You have to admit, a panel of Larry David, Madonna and Ricky Gervais on a show called 'The Marriage Ref' (Thu., 10PM ET on NBC) is definitely one of the stranger pop culture phenoms at the moment. Gervais agrees, noting, "I feel like someone's put crack in my drank! What is going on? This is the weirdest show I've ever been on."
