  2. Holy shit! You saw Jason Blake at the show?
  3. too late ... well that was a little premature what can I say? ... Im a sucker for Crisco Kisses ... You're the only star in heaven!
  4. It's where I saw my first Phish show in '93! Not to mention Bob Dylan, Dave Matthews and a whackload of other shows back in the early-mid '90s.
  5. This is some weird shit. Hymen restoration procedures
  6. It's on Yonge at Davenport. Davenport is north of Bloor, just past the Reference Library. When Church St. hits Bloor, it starts to curve around west and hits Yonge a few blocks up, where it turns into Davenport. And yeah, there's a big Canadian Tire just across the street from the Masonic Temple.
  7. Tragically Hip, Music @ Work. Inspired by Velvet's Bluesfest updates.
  8. You can't get much cuter than that. Don't you just want to hug him?
  9. TV On The Radio, Return To Cookie Mountain.
  10. I'm just trying to figure out why there is a picture of a pig under the word "veal".
  11. Having them out at a bar seeing a gig and having them in the comfort of your own home on a quiet night in can be totally different experiences. It also helps if you don't chew them while committing a crime. Of course, since chewing them *is* a crime, that's a pretty difficult task to accomplish.
  12. No surprise here, but news nonetheless: Link

  14. I would love to see these guys again. I had a blast the last time they were in town (or at least the last time that they were in town and I was there to see them, anyway).
  15. Which biography did you read? I read one a few years ago, but can't quite recall the title or author (although I have a funny feeling it may have been the same guy who did a Richard Thompson bio about ten years ago). I do remember that it was horribly written, but informative nonetheless. I did get the impression that the author was attempting to portray Tina Weymouth as a baddie (rightly or wrongly, I don't know) and that all of the quotes in the book which were attributed to her seeemed mostly like responses to a draft of the book rather than interviews. Anyway, my point is that although I learned a lot from the book, I still thought the author had an axe to grind and that he could have benefitted from a refresher course in writing.
