These are a few photos I took of Haolong Bay. Go there. It is perfectly reasonable to see both the north and south of VietNam. Flying is cheap and easy, and Hanoi is an awesome city to see.

So it's time for me to buy my first-ever laptop. I'll be taking it on the road with me to South America for a year or two, so I'll be looking for something reasonably compact and sturdy that still kicks some serious ass and can perhaps function as my media entertainment centre as well. Any advice?

Sweet. This is great news. It will soften the blow of having to leave Central America. Not that summer in Ottawa is hard to take.

Buy their albums. They really are good. They opened for U2 on the Canadian leg of their last tour. Then they came back to Ottawa and played the cafeteria at Cantebury High. They are pretty cool.

How did you guess? Gorgeous, 23, and Swiss. We hitchhiked half way across Honduras and to Leon, Nicaragua together. I made it down in one piece and not even a scratch. It was a LOT of fun. Pics will be up on facebook tonight probably. I´m taking advantage of reliable and cheap internet access while I´m in the city. Most likely heading down to Las Peñitas tomorrow to lie on the beach for a few days and take in some Paciffic sunsets.
