  1. If yer gonna use the piece for a press release and bio, I don't feel all that guilty in pointing out some very small typos that could be easily fixed. 1. Space in 'accordion'; 2. Space in between Randy Bachman and the end bracket; 3. Billy Manzik's record is called 'AllTogetherNow'
  2. I wonder if the concession staff from 1963 will be introduced.
  3. You missed the 10 minute shoot-around.
  4. Would you rather have a staring contest with Henri Richard or Clint Eastwood?

    Truffle Oil

It's super expensive for the real stuff, but I've had good luck with this pseudo-truffle oil I found at the grocery. It's "Truffles and Porcini Mushroom Infused Oil" and it's delicious. Definitely not the same as real truffle oil but usually good enough if you're not willing to spend the big bucks.
  6. Those brackets are interesting. You could put anything in there
  7. Karlsson's there because Lee was sucking

Gramercy Tavern was on our radar but we didn't go there. Ended up going to the Bridge Cafe. It was delicious. Had the most perfect ribeye - Grilled Prime Bone-In Ribeye / House Made Steak Sauce, Lyonnaise Potatoes, Creamy Parmesan & Garlic Spinach. Had the chocolate, banana and caramel bread pudding for dessert. Nice bottle of Pinot Noir. I have a long list of restaurants to try on my next visits. WD-50 Gramercy Tavern Rayuela Allen & Delancey Inoteca And soooo many more.

    Steamboat

Sandro Perri is a genius, but I doubt he'll be DJ-ing his own material. Who knows though. He's got good taste.

I looked at the menu on the website for Les Halles and it doesn't appeal to me.
  16. Related - Pearl Jam was on Austin City Limits last weekend and it was really good. You can find the show on the Pirate Bay.

    NYC Restaurant

I did use chowhound, and nymag. Very good resources for sure. I have left the decision making up to someone else. My list of restaurants was getting too crazy and I was driving myself mad, so it's in someone else's hands. WD-50 is still in the picture though.
  19. yet Ottawa is still leading the division. Poor booche.
  20. All the stuff I googled last night said Doughboys opened.
  21. This could help in your search http://www.pearljam.com/show/robert-guertin-arena-aug-17-1993 And this, from http://www.fivehorizons.com/tour/cc/t1993.shtml 08/17/93 - Robert Guertin Arena: Hull, Quebec support act: Doughboys The arena was packed and many people got in free. The set opens with 'Go' and 'Animal.' 'Rearviewmirror' is played midway through the set, in a slow love ballad style. Most all of Ten is played with the exception of 'Release' and 'Garden.' During the third encore, with half of the lights on, a very intoxicated Ed enters the stage with a big wooden cross with a skull on each end with a candle (or a candle in the shape of a skull). Half was already gone. Someone was brought on stage to sit and hold the cross while they played just one song ... 'Indifference.'

Yes, and he's been a judge on a few episodes of regular top chef. He's also competed on iron chef. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wylie_Dufresne
