  1. I was walking by the Pho place at Maclaren and Bank, but looking across the street at Babylon thinking that the show was tonight. Then I look back at the Pho place and Ian Blurton was walking out with a smoke and some take-out. Good story eh?
  2. Apparently this news was published in a beverage trade magazine two days before the car accident.

  6. I've always loved that line for sure. They were great live as well. Managed to see them twice in their short career.
  7. What's the deal with this? Why are there artists associated with a province / territory? WTF does INXS have to do with Ontario? Hutchence died years ago. Why is VANOC showcasing such terrible bands? (Because VANOC is dumb)
  8. This is a funny story http://www.thestar.com/sports/hockey/nhl/mapleleafs/article/735614--shanny-snub-resulted-in-vaive-attack
  9. Probably out of context, yes. And no, have not been to that message board.
  10. The guy could have concisely summarized what he was promoting rather than (or in addition to) the giant essay about god knows what. How hard is it to list the artist, date, venue and ticket cost?
  11. that reminds me of another one: duck does not equal duct You likely did not hire duck cleaners

    Hummus

I know hummus is one of the easiest things in the world to make, but give me a good recipe please. The recipe I've relied on for the past few years is becoming boring and I'd rather read your opinions than random internet recipes.
  13. Jesse Winchester (born October 4, 1983, in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who currently plays for the Ottawa Senators of the National Hockey League. Winchester was born in Cornwall and raised in nearby Long Sault. He played junior hockey with the Cornwall Colts of the Central Junior A Hockey League, and was then offered a full hockey scholarship, and he subsequently played four seasons of NCAA Division I hockey with Colgate University. He was an ECAC All-Star in 2007-2008 as well as Colgate's team captain. On March 25, 2008, after graduating from Colgate, Winchester signed with the NHL's Ottawa Senators and began his pro career. Winchester made his NHL debut with Ottawa in 2007-08, playing in a single game against the Boston Bruins on March 29, 2008, registering no points and two penalty minutes. Due to stipulations in the league's collective bargaining agreement, Winchester was ineligible to play in the 2008 NHL playoffs. He then made the Senators lineup out of training camp in 2008-09, though a recurring shoulder injury hampered Winchester throughout his rookie NHL season.

  17. Malkin took a few too many liberties last night but of course he won't be suspended. It was a miracle (IMO) that Ovie got those two games last week. Of course he was injured anyways.... Oh well.
  18. Yeah, that happens a lot, not sure where the phantom spaces come from. Oh well. Sorry to nitpick!
  19. Good article in The Star today
