  1. I have a new computer but an old ipod. I would like to transfer the music that is currently on the ipod onto the new machine. Is this possible without syncing? IIRC if I sync this to the new computer I won't have any music on the ipod. Help please!
  2. Not to mention us humans are fucking up the world and Mother Nature is pissed!
  3. Tungsten explained to me last night that the stages that have been collapsing are the new style that are hoisted into place by a crane with poles going into the ground for support. Most stages used now and in the past decade are a "transformer" type that actually arrive on, and 'grow' out from the tractor trailer. The weight of both the trailer and the hydraulics give the stage much more strength and these are the ones that have not been falling. Only the two main stages at Bluesfest were this type, the others were the trailer types and suffered no damage. I for one, was very very glad to hear this news as I'll literally be on or within 50 yards of the trailer types at Folk Fest for 4 straight days.
  4. I'm going to be working on two stages at an outodoor festival in less than two weeks. Needless to say I think I am going to be a bit jumpy if any weather blows in.
  5. Says the probable starting quarterback, to some kid named John Beck. I feel your pain Sloth.... Eagles also signed Steve Smith of NYG today. If he is healed completely, he can be a game changer.
  6. I've been checking the setlist in the morning, but haven't heard a note from this leg. Gorge Night 1 is getting alot of love!

  9. If they don't like peanuts, they should request a deli tray in their rider.
  10. He's gained a bunch of weight since I last saw him. I think he may have borrowed it from his keyboard players legs. Ouch each a steak lady! But I do love him with this band!
  11. The Mountain Goats just covered Styx!!
  12. Yep. They were on site that year. I spent my summer in the Cape listening to this station and its pretty fantastic. I think it is one of the last truly independent radio stations in the US.

  15. Did you get any pics, or want to give us any details Dave-O?
  16. I think its time to change the thread title DaveO. Lots of retort up in here!
  17. I'm watching but can't log in to the chat. This improv video is pretty wild!
  18. Well for starters the lock out has been lifted (d'uh I know). But now free agent signings are happening all over the place. Haynesworth and Ocho Cinco to New England. Cromartie-Rodgers for Kolb. Reggie Bush to Miami. Maybe I'm jumping the gun and no one gives a shit yet, but I'm glad there is good football news again.
  19. I drove from Sarnia to Ottawa last night and saw some terrible driving, more than a dozen trailers that were certainly not road worthy and massive accidents. Two of the four involved small watercraft on trailers. Be careful on the roads this weekend, its the time when people who may not usually tow big things- do. And of course, rage the weekend proper! :chug:
