Thank god the wait is over. Last night my girlfriend, out of the blue, offered to take me to my favorite restaurant tonight and pay for everything (and it's a pretty pricey place) and I blew her off so I could watch the game and eat chips with the dog. That's how much I'm looking forward to football starting. (and no Ollie, no need to chime in about how the CFL season is rolling along). Redskins are going 19-0 and McNabb is throwing for 6,000 yards, no picks.

Last year I felt the Vikings were going to hand GB their asses but something tells me Aaron Rodgers is going to light them up this time around. I'm glad Favre is coming back for one more, the bullshit around it all just stinks but the Vikings were a fun team to watch and it'll make for seasonal drama (which is good, off season drama=bad).

I'll say I'll try and be a good sport and participate. I've havent done any pools in years because my whole stance is if I don't have the time to take it seriously I don't want to do it but I'll try and find the time and do some research. (excluding that weekly winners thing we did last year, that was fun and we should do that again as well).

Sad news. I learned to drive a motorcycle a few years ago in India and absolutely feel in love with them, the driving is crazy over there but everyone has their head on a swivel and I never once felt in danger (I didn't ride in Delhi or Mumbai) but I'd never drive one in North America, I'm not even sure it's selfishness, it's just a car world over here.
