About a dozen or so years ago I was saying exactly the same thing here in Ottawa. Then the scene got rejuvenated again. I hope and suspect it will happen again, and I want to be part of that wave too. Hope it's not a long wait.

Agreed that a pinned topic is less likely to be opened by me. Somebody said nobody went to the show. Not true. And certainly one can't blame those in attendance for the sparse crowd. Lack of advertiseing, competing bands at other venues, and just a nice night to sit in the backyard and there ya go, a sparse night out. Big deal. As was said to me after the show, "It's not like it hasn't happened to us before." As for getting out and representing...I do think it's important.

I spent a coupla months in Taiwan but didn't get to Taipei much. One thing I would suggest as a must-see is the Tarago Gorge, aka the central cross highway. It's best to do on motorcycle. One of the world's greatest drives.

If you're interested in Chinese art the museum there has the largest collection in the world.

I suspect that American border guards are trained to humiliate and insult people. If they are not trained as such then there is a vast coincidence going on. They just do not treat people with any respect whatsoever. And looking at the drug and weapons problems in the US, it seems they suck at their jobs too.

Meh. I don't get him at all. It seems to me the only reasons the guy is famous is 'cuz a) Kurt Cobain wore his t-shirt, and this documentary was made. Musically the guy is at about grade 4, and lyrically he's around grade 8. Totally public school

The Saint John shows are officially off due to circumstances outside of camp nero. We're truly sorry about this, as I can honestly say we were as excited about the shows as anyone else. Hopefully the band will regroup again sometime in the future, but we have nothing to announce at this time.
