  1. I remember live music. Then I had kids.
  2. I can't tell you about Ottawa, but if you ever want to do it while you're in Toronto, I'll tell you where to go. He'll give you a discount, too.
  3. I agree with you on the punctuation-thing when typing. People have just grown lazy to the point of not caring whether they look intelligent or not, when they so easily could by simply using basic rules of grammar, punctuation, and syntax. Where I don't agree with you, though, is that I still can't stand "my bad".
  4. I think it's really awesome the way the automated Google-generated ads that pop up in this thread are seeking investors into the oil-industry. La piece de la resistance. Nice.
  5. Wow! Congratulations, guys! 14 months ago?
  6. Interesting. I forwarded that article to a friend who runs a website related to a related service. I'm interested to hear what he says.

    Olympiclog?

Let us know when it's official that you made the cut.
  8. That's what I called Velvet for the first 15-odd years I knew him.
  9. Listen to some Gutterboys here. http://www.calnan.com/lonesome/bands/gutterboys/story.html
  10. Really? Of all of Todd's band's to reunite, it wouldn't have been my first bet. Very cool, though. I'd go if I were anywhere nearby. Edit to add: Will the 4th Gutterboy be coming in from Quebec to play?

  12. Thanks for posting this. I'm definitely going to watch. Coventry is what caused me to make my very first post here.
  13. Of course. The Codetalkers will never be the same.

    Olympiclog?

I disagree. I don't want to read anything. If Todd wins this, I insist that ever Olympiclog be in an audio format, sung, with musical accompaniment. I want copies in .mp3 (at least 192 kbps).
  15. This is about the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, and is not really a short answer. That said, if it could be answered quickly, I'd say YATS did so. His answer is essentially correct, and the bottom line is that an illegal search is only deemed so by a Judge, and by then you've spent a fortune on legal fees and grown a lot of grey hairs knowing that if you don't win on the Charter issue you will be convicted.
  16. I think I have my answer about whether to attend this show, anyway. I can say, though, that he is playing another show in Toronto at The Sound Academy this month, which confuses me about this idea that he's way bigger than Spearhead, but I'll take your words for it.
  17. I'm sure this is a stupid question, but who is he? He is doing a tour with Spearhead, and I'm trying to figure out if he is big enough that it's a double-bill or else who is opening for whom? Is he from another band? Anyone know if he is opening for Spearhead or vice versa, or do they trade off each show or something?
