  1. Chili Chilies is no longer in the market Dave, they moved but you can either go for a nice drive or order online. Lottie's was always my favorite until I went to Belize and now Marie Sharp in almost any variety is my favorite. Mmmm. Chili Chilies does have Marie Sharpe but in Belize I got huge bottles for $3.50 each and in Ottawa I pay $7-$8 for a teeny wee bottle. It smarts.
  2. Imagine how many New Years babies there will be in 2009. Hehehehe.
  3. Hey everyone, I am looking for the fender caps that appear on the bikes in the photo below. We'd probably need about 15 of them and I'll be damned if I can find them anywhere for purchase so I am wondering if anyone knows someone who can make them. Metal, plastic? I dunno.
  4. I found out that my stomach doesn't like eating two chocolate covered marshmallow eggs and an entire package of candy coated chocolate Easter eggs after a huge spagetti and meatball dinner. My tummy hurt bad after all that chocolate.
  5. WOOT WOOT!!! YAY!!!! Sorry, I had to move this from the Slip forum to the Sanctuary. I imagine I'm not the only person who missed this post. We have our tickets and I can not wait to see SMMD again. Hallelujah!!

    Lamb Chops

Yup, I agree with Jay and Dinghy. For chops, just a pan sear on a relatively high heat. Kepp it medium rare though. If you were asking about rack of lamb, I'd recommend a pan sear to start and finishing them in the oven. Again to medium rare. Lamb is ruined at medium and well done. Enjoy the lamb. It's one of my favorites!
  7. Yeah, yeah I'm talking fresh stuff here, not Loblaws. But I'd still take Loblaws head cheese over cheeze whiz.
  8. Eureka! I just figured out what I hate (but I'm glad I do and don't wish I didn't) PROCESSED FOODS. I hate the weird aftertaste in heavily processed, ready to eat meals, frozen food, cheeze whiz.... I'd rather eat a head cheese and blood pudding sandwich than a cheeze whiz sandwich.
  9. I have no problem with head cheese. I'd choose something else if given the opportunity but if I am hungry I'd eat head cheese. I don't hate it.
  10. Same here Phorbsie. I think I like everything. Sometimes I might not feel like having a certain food, but I can't say it's because I don't like it.
  11. [color:purple]Awww, he hurt his little face. Little people are so cute.
  12. I'd love to flip houses. Maybe it'll happen someday.
  13. I ordered some fitness equipment and with it, I received a free"Fit Power Loop". It didn't come with any collateral at all and I'll be damned if I can find anything online that instructs me on what sorts of things to do with it. Can anyone find anything or has anyone used one before? What exercises can I do? Bokonon, you can sit this one out hun.
  14. I like pink popcicles the best. Well actually I like the rocket ones that are blue, white and red the best, but pink is my favorite plain one. Fack, how can we talk about popcicles while still enduring the crappiest winter that ever wintered?
  15. Cool. Are you hungry rubberdinghy?
  16. Oh yay! I listen to the Spades so much now, don't know why I never got into them before, but I dig em now so this show is great news for me!
  17. This is for a Winterlude package for 2008/2009 for our hotel guests. Just looking into what we can offer and the costs involved. I aint buying skates for everyone. Thanks for your help. As always the Skanks come through.
  18. I can't stand having to leave a dollar tip with each beer I buy. I resent tipping for individual beer purchases, but I do it.
  19. Perfect. Thanks again AD.
  20. Thanks. How much WERE they. I'm looking at a package for next year.
  21. Anyone know how much the skate rental is on the canal?
  22. Whoa with ticket prices like that he'll be a millionaire again in no time.
