  1. Hey Skanks! A link to our Belize Blog!
  2. I just started reading this book, Love is a Mix Tape by Rob Sheffield. I thought it might be of interest to people on this board because it sounds like a page from any of our lives as music fans. It's a music critic's story about life and love. Every occasion in his life has a sound track and he lists the mix tapes that he made at each point. So far, so cool.
  3. For all you Sirius subscribers, check out Ryan Adams doing a live session tonight at 9:00 on Left of Center.
  4. So?? What did everyone think of the finale? I'm still sort of "WTFing" it in my brain.
  5. Oh man, oh man! Popo Weenie is coming to our wedding! I told many of you that she wasn't, but now she is! I can't wait for you guys to meet the popo! Looking forward to seeing you oh Weenie one.
  6. Have a great day Darren! Bonne Fete.

I laugh out loud every time.
  8. Oh yeah, this is the food forum.... When I was watching the Flinstones I was eating Kraft Dinner or tomato soup (made with water not milk) and crackers. So getto.
  9. OH wow, just hearing Marco say "Flinstones at lunch" brought back so many memories for me. That was an absolute must for me, for years!
  10. Lucky fucker has a Friday brithday, have a good one Sean.
  11. I like Hull because it's cheap and allowed me to become a home owner years before I might have been able to otherwise. It's a 10 minute bike ride to the Bi-ward market, 10 minute drive to work and 10 minutes from Gatineau Park. We live on some of the best bike paths I've ever been on and they're kept up brilliantly. I like Ottawa because it's where all my friends are! It's big enough to have everything I need and see some action, but small enough that I still run into someone I know every time we go shopping. I like that we're less than 2 hours from Montreal, less than 3 to Vermont and less than 4 to Toronto. I LOVE that I'm far from my mother. I HATE that I'm far from my neices and nephews.
  12. Happy birthday to you, this is your day. On this day for you were gonna love you in every way. This is your day, your day, happy birthday to you, to you, to you. Happy birthday to you, youre still young. Age is just a number, dont you stop having fun. This is your day, your day, happy birthday to you. This day only comes once every year, Because youre so wonderful with each and everything you do, hey! Happy birthday to you, this is your day. On this day for you were gonna love you in every way. This is your day, your day, happy birthday to you, to you. This day is only for you, cause youre so special in every way, Happy birthday to you!
  13. Oh yeah, I hear ya M.O.B.E. The one thing I crave, love and find comforting that takes no work on my part though is a good french loaf with oil and balsamic. I am embarassed to say I have eaten entire loaves (shut up Davey Boy) all by myself and could likely eat two. It's my vice.
  14. I love good ol' Juicy Jumbos. The spicy all-beef ones.
  15. The best part of Bluesfest is not the acts that you know and plan on seeing, it's the 10 that you discover by accident. Get the bracelet and plan on surprising yourself.
  16. Happy birthday Jay! Enjoy your weekend.
  17. Wow, I might have to do something different this Canada day! Sounds like a hell of a day. Thanks AD!
  18. Thanks everyone. I just love this community. I took Gravol and it seemed to work last night. I woke up in the middle of the night but I did M's count backwards thingy and that helped to! Fingers crossed for tonight. I understand I have a big day/night tomorrow!!!
  19. I gotta say the Manor as well. I loved that place.
  20. Now that our wedding is about two weeks away, I am having trouble sleeping. I'm not nervous or anything, I'm just anxious and excited. I lay awake for 2-3 hours in the middle of the night just going over the details of everything... the ceremony, the reception, the honeymoon, my family, stuff going on at work.... EVERYTHING!!! I actually tried counting sheep last night, but could only make it to about 32 before my mind took off in another direction. Does anyone have any advise to help me get my beauty sleep and keep me from being a grumpy, sleepy bridzilla? Any tricks on getting back to sleep once I wake up?
