  1. That's a bit much BradM, deciding who solos when? Who leads transitions? That's part of the give and take of a great jam. I would say, the guest has to be invited, and maybe even a set amount of time or songs, or jams can be disussed. (ie: come up the fifth song and stay until the end of the set or; come up for a couple tunes).
  2. The lamb was really, really good. It was so tender it just melted in my mouth.

  4. That sucks that he hasn't enjoyed it yet, or that he didn't offer to sit down and drink with you! But... a gift is a gift is a gift. Once you give something to someone, consider it none of your business what they do with it. (Unless it's a puppy.) I'm sure that even if he doesn't like the gift, the thought and sentiment is not lost on him.
  5. This is SO annoying. I mean I know he's your husband, but come on, Warren hardly needs that much promotion in the jamband world. I do a killer Steph impression. Her voice is brutal.
  6. Holy fack do I LOVE Ryan Adams. I love him so much I just had to make this post so I could look at my avatar. Okay I'm not so much in love with him as I am with his music. For the last three months I have played his CDs/live shows about 1000 times. It may be driving my husband a bit crazy but I just can't get enough. Love it. Love it. Love it.
  7. I have that Tala CD. Haven't listened to it in a long time, but I remember it being really good and playing it over and over. I'll have to pull it out again. So what DID happen to them?
  8. Married life's pretty f-in good. Couldn't be better actually! The honeymoon ain't over yet!
  9. Yikes. I'm sure that is no help in getting him laid. *shudder* Hey Weezy, DAMN nice to see you!
  10. Rob, Rob, Rob *shakes head* I can NOT believe you didn't hit up Stoneface and you were even on Preston. Please tell us this will not happen again. Shame.
  11. Don't forget the herbs Hux. Mint grows everywhere right now, I bet it would be fantastic with carrots!
  12. Happy happy Heather! May your day be filled with love, laughter, shooters and music!
  13. You know I second Stoneface Dollies! Everything there is the best. The homefries especially.
  14. Saw it yesterday and LOVED it. I was a transformers fan as a kid. I always watched it with my brother Dan and though my parents never bought me any, they bought him tons of transformer toys and we played together a lot with them. (Do they still make them in metal or are they plastic now?) Anyway, great movie. I felt attached to the Autobot characters and loved the sound. The story was blockbuster-type and simple but it worked.
  15. Cool thanks for posting that. Hux played some Buffett the last time I was on his sail boat (I love Hux for his cheese - we had 3 varieties, shropshire, brie and some mustard seed cheddar?) Anyway back to Buffett, it just felt like the right music for being in the sunshine, on the water and chugging back beers. It was a Tuesday but it sure felt like the weekend.
  16. Google is so amazing. I was on a strategic retreat not so long ago and learned the mission statements for several different companies. When we got to Google, my jaw droped at how huge a mission they set out to conquer: Google: - To Document the World's Information. Really think about that. If you had that task, where would you start and how far along would you be?
  17. Appetite was the soundtrack of my early teens. So many firsts for me were to the sound of Axl's voice and Slash's guitar. 20 years huh? Yeah, I feel old also.
  18. AdamH, your about 16th row, middle section.
  19. Sorry pholks. The tickets are sold! (Fack I love this board.)
  20. Purchased from Pre-Sale from tel-spec (?) Ideally I'd like to sell them off at once. Let's see what happens with that.
  21. So my lovely sister-in-law and I were on the same wave-length and ordered both tickets for Ryan Adams. So now I have two for sale. Row G seats 30 and 32. I paid $45.00 each with $6.50 service charge each = so $103.00. They're being mailed to me so I could get them to you shortly. Any takers?
