  5. I just want to say as a past performer at Evovle, that Evovle was a great experience for my band, the Chameleon Project, and we were treated like family by Joe, Jonas and Jimmy. Joe and his girlfriend Parnell were kind enough to put my band up in their own home for days and were entirely gracious...and at the time we were total strangers. Our experience at Evolve was awesome and we played to a friendly enthusiastic crowd and the festival was very well run, even compared to much larger American festivals I have been to. And yes we did get paid...almost immediately after we played... The Evolve crew treated us like professionals at all times and helped expose us to a greater market out East....even though we were by no means a marquee act. Even so they had the confidence in us to slot us on the same stage with headliners, the Vorzca trio and Steve Kimock in that order. I acknowledge that there may have been financial troubles that I am not party to, but the organizers of this festival and Jay Cleary do thier best to provide quality jam-band/Dj talent to a part of the counrty that would never see it. In closing Evolve is a credit to the Canadian underground music scene and a model I hope spreads to other parts of Canada. Thanks Joe, Jonas, Jay, Jimmy and all the Evovle crew from THE CHAMELEON PROJECT....hope to see you all again. ...and Luke play nice already!

"Don't Bogart that joint" is not a Little Feat song. It was originally recorded by the Fraternity of Man. The Fraternity of Man was Little Feat drummer Ritchie Hayward's band from the 60's before he joined Little Feat. Little Feat does perform the song live, but on the only studio version is by the Fraternity of man and I saw in the rules that bootleg/live versions don't count....

  18. Nice. Looks like a kind jam. The Riddim Rebels featured Adam Hutchison on guitar and vocals, he used to play keys in the Chameleon Project. Nice to see him back in action.
