  5. Oh I wish it was. However I do not know who this sports writer is. It does seem like more than just me feel this way. I'll say it again, they shoould resign him. Why? for many reasons.... 1. The Raptors desperately need vertan leadership and JYD has that in spades. 2. The Raptors have always struggled with rebournding and defense. Those two things are JYD's specialty. 3. Fans love him and he would put even more people in the seats, and the homecoming marketing angle would be huge. 4. He is only 32 and still in his effective playing years. 5. The Raptors could get him cheap and he would love to play here again. He still has many active community programs here. ...the bottom line is it wouldn't be that hard for the Raptors to make it happen, wouldn't hurt thier pocket book badly and it would make them a better team on an off the court... ...now if we could only get Keon Clark back too...

  7. I was on that whole tour. I remember the highlight was AL and Chuck from moe. sitting in with Bobby for help-slip-franklin's. I remember it was nice to do a hometown show after being on the road for a while.
  8. That setlist does look good, be interested to see how they played.
  9. It might help to list a date and venue for this event if you want people to go.
  10. Nice. ...Personally I would be pissed if I had a ticket and String Cheese was substituted for Trey. No comparison. I am glad however that Trey is taking time to walk the line and get his shit together. Somehow I think 10,000 lakes would be a tough place to get sober.

  12. Watch out for the harsh searches on the way in. A couple years back the manager for Soundtribe sector nine got busted for weed. I hear they have dogs too. But having never been this is just what I have heard. The talent looks great though.
  13. What about Ramon MArtinez he was greasy. And I never knew how much of a commitment having Jheri curls was. After reading AD's link I am shocked anyone wore this style.
  14. I think you could be right. As much as Duecy sucked he was part of a few spectacular games. He was also part of a game at the Ex where the jays hit 11 homeruns in one game. Duecy cranked one.
  15. This is actually a drum and bass record label logo but it's killer.. All and all the Dead's "Steal Your Face" logo is the king. The Red white and blue all American just like band and ever notice how one half of the skull is laughing and the other half is crying. You can tell by the laugh lines on one side and the tear in one eye. It really represents the joy and pain in thier music. Brilliant.
  16. I can recall back when I was a little kid in the late 80's going to Exhibition stadium to see the Jay's it seemed that every black player had a head full or glistening Jerry curls. It seemed like the more the gleamed and waved in the wind the better they played... So ask you who would you put on the All-Jerry curl baseball team? Right off the bat I can recall Cecil Fielder and Llloyd Moseby having serious curls...
  17. 18. Happy B-day from the Chameleon Project
  19. The world is a better place now. What a total hate monger.
  20. Yeah it's older but the Rhinestone b-boy mix is classic!
  21. Question? Why does no one really steal a lot of bases in the majors anymore? I mean sure some dues might steal 10 or 15, but I remember in the 80's & early 90's people like Ricky Henderson, Vince Coleman, & Gary Pettis were stealing 50-100 bases a year. Back then even dudes like Molitor, Conseco and a many others were stealing 25-40 a year. So what gives? How has the game changed to facilitate this? I miss the base stealers, they made the game more exciting...
  22. Ooops type-o that's what I meant you are right, let me correct it.
  23. #226 "Songs that mention other bands/artists" 1. Monterey- San Franciscan Nights (Byrds, Jefferson Airplane, Grateful Dead, The Who, Ravi Shankar, Jimi Hendrix, Hugh Masekela)
