  1. Does this pass get you into everything? I was a little confused on the official web-site. They mention that the pass is good for all "general admission" shows. Then they list a bunch of shows with reserve seating and ticket prices. Most all of the bands I want to see are in that list. SO does that mean you have to buy individual tickets for (as example) Steve Miller? Anyone?
  2. #222. Best guitar rock songs without any guitar solos: 1. Sister Surround - The Soundtrack Of Our Lives 2. Blur - Song 2 3. I'm gonna Booglarize You, Baby - Capt. Beefheart and the Magic Band 4. Ween - You fuÇked Up 5. Bryan Adams - Run to You 6. Bob Dylan- Like a rolling stone 7. 8. 9. 10. 11. 12.
  3. I'll be interested to see a live band at Crosstown. I think this is the first time they've had live acts since Healy's moved..
  4. The Henke's Army post made me think of the good ol' days at Exhibton stadium. Back when me where men, the hot dogs where foot long and Gath Iorge batted DH..... Ahh them were the days....so post your fav. classic era Blue Jay and a little fact about him..... Lloyd Anthony Moseby Nickname: the Shaker... Leads the Toronto Blue Jays all time with 255 career stolen bases.... Also narrowly beat out Cecil Fielder for greasiest Gerry Curls all time....
  5. Hey thanks. I'm now thinking the next piece of Chameleon Project merch should be a gimpmask with our logo.
  6. That notorious show where ladies were oogled, the place was jammed, beats were dropped and Kung was shocked...is now up on www.chameleonproject.com Link to set: 04/24/07 @ el mocambo
  7. All over these shows both look really good. Larry Goldings is one of the best B3 players bar none... He could easily give Medeski a run for his money.... Awesome.
  8. I hate to do this but I have one ticket for Amon Tobin's upcoming show this Friday at the Opera House for sale. This is gonna be a killer show, he is doing a Dolby surround sound set! Alas my friend's B-day party is the same night so I have to sell. I am only looking for th face value: $22.00 PM me if interested.....
  9. Fuck Bell. I hate them. I suggest you cut all services, then if they have credit card payment info on you, simply tell you credit card company you lost your card. They will issue you a new one and Bell will have no access to the number. As for your credit being hurt. It is not as easy to do as Bell makes it out. Simply tell bell you want an itemized statement of all charges and fees and that you are going to take it to your lawyer to review as you feel the charges and treatment is unjust. this will buy you months and they cannot deny your request to see your charges... make those bitches work for it.....
  10. me too what is not safe for work in this. All I saw was dudes with bad mullets? Am I missing something?
  11. I did but I didn't see too many burners listed that helped. Most of the programs under the Burner/Ripper section are just rippers. Thanks though.
  12. Arrrgggg.... So I love the fact that FLAC sounds great and is far superior to MP3 but I hate that there are so few user friendly programs that work with it. I currently am in the market for a good FLAC burner. I have many projects coming up where I need an all encompassing one. I need software that will burn FLAC, while also writing the TAG info to disc and have a labelling function for cd jackets, where the TAG info can be imported. Now that is not hard for MP3s but I can't find any of that for FLAC. All I can find is burn for free and it sucks, and spits out bad burns all the time... Anyone know of a good burner with these functions? I am totally willing to pay so freeware is not important.
  13. One of my favorite shows too. What exactly have the done to the original series in this DVD that is so bad?
  14. Nope. LSD was made illegal in late 1966. And if it wasn't for all the cool concerts, rich history and awesome landscape and performance opportunities, I too would be happy never to go back to the US. Too bad they have all that good stuff! Damn!
  15. I personally think Facebook is a CIA scheme to get info on everyone they can and log how everyone knows each other. Be careful what info you happily give up. FACEBOOK IS EVIL!
  16. This is the kind of thing that makes people love America and what it sands for. There needs to be more of this...it speaks to all the good the US is suppose to be.
  17. The New Riders certainly still have their signature sound....great to see them live. Some nice jamming too into some psychedelic cowboy space at times... it's cool that they have Michael Falzarano on rhythm guitar mow, he used to be in Hot Tuna a while back too. Nice to meet you in person too Ollie.
  18. Grateful Dead- Closing of the Winterland 1978
  19. #221: Songs you enjoy that would surprise your former self. 1. Earl Johnson & His Dixie Entertainers - John Henry Blues 2. Dobie Gray - Drift Away 3. John Allan Cameron - The Bluenose 4. Arvo Part - Fratres 5. Todd Rundgren- I saw the light 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. 11. 12.
  20. 1. Steely Dan 2. Supertramp 3. Fleetwood Mac 4. Jimmy Buffett 6. Bruce Cockburn 5. Jazz In retrospect it seems the common link in these bands I now love but didn't get earlier (with the exception of Jimmy Buffett) is that their music is more complex and advanced then most. I think as a child or adolescent the complexity of arrangements and groove turned me off as I did not get it and I was looking for more visceral music that was obvious...
