Sounds like your dad wants you out of the house! Seriously though, any financial adviser worth his or her salt will tell you not to take out a loan to pay rent. Instead, you should save up enough money to cover the 1st and last month's rent before you rent a place.

I was thinking about The Dead Weather last night. Out of all of the bands I've seen with Jack White (or Jack Black for that matter), The Dead Weather were my least favourite. Still very good though!

Yep. A lot of us were there. Great show! Notable moment for me after the show: being politely asked to leave the Comfort Zone after I tried to sit down on a chair and missed.

I made it every night, and on weekdays I was at work every morning by 8:30 am However I could have used a lawnchair last night for my aching legs and feet. Buckwheat Zydeco was a great way to end the festival for me. My favourites were Kiss, Styx, and Jeff Beck.

Had a great time at Swizzle's last night witnessing Dave's new "Envelope 3" arrangement. The music was incredible. Good and loud too! Didn't stay 'til the end after a long day but it was a pleasure to see everyone . Those who didn't make it missed something really special. -
