buying anything less than 500G now seems like a waste to me. also, dont assume that just because the regular price is high, and it's half off now, that it's a "better deal". until january, the lacie 500G externals were regular priced around $300 or so, but it dropped to $170 (and is on sale now for $130).

check canadacomputers and tigerdirect to gauge prices too. future shop has had some good deals on external HDs. getting cheaper and bigger.

working from home today. sitting in the sunny backyard reading about polychotomous logit models and havincoffee.

had a great time too. lots of energy on stage for a bunch of nerds. i loved the shake a fist opener, over and over, and one pure thought. would have really liked to hear colours, and i dont think they played arrest yourself (or did they?). was especially cool how they jammed into the next song a lot without stopping. short and sweet and sweaty, but was more than enough - especially for $25. the phoenix is the place for shows like this. i liked the opener too, but i sense i was one of the few who did.

try taking them back. if it's a good store, they will accept the return. if it's a bad store, well, then ya know it's a bad store. i mentioned it to a couple of students at McMaster yesterday and they told me that the University gave all frosh a nalgene bottle during frosh week this year. one of the students joked, "you think we can sue?".

OMG, i had no idea nalgene is a medical supply company.
