I was at that game! In fact, I was at some gems: Gruber's cycle Jays 22-2 loss to the Brewers (stayed till the bitter end too!) We need an ode to Exhibition stadium thread, that place kicked ass. I saw their first ever game on ESPN classic Canada and I had completely forgotten how wierd of a place that was. When I was a kid I didnt notice anything wrong with it, it was all I knew, but now, holy craq, what a wierd looking place!

I know what you mean man. A few months ago some friends and I opened for Diesel Dog at the Lanc. We started our set, were about half way through when I finally looked up into the crowd. HOLY SHIT, THERES AWHACK OF PEOPL HERE, I thought. Head down and dont look up again!

Reminds me of a story: Freind of mine from Ottawa was at a Leaf-Sens playoff game. Leafs won and after the game a group of leaf fans had surrounded a twleve yr old with a Sens jersey. Started yelling Sens suck and pointing at him. My friend jumped in, made the guys leave and helped the kid find his parents. In the parking lot afterwards he happened to be parked near the same Leaf fans. They jumped him and broke one of his ribs. Theres assholes everywhere.

I watched most of the game last night. All Im saying is that rookies often have success their first go around, but tend to get shelled, as Booche stated, once they get scouted. Just dont get your hope up too much. It'd be awesome if he came through, but Im not counting on it. Plus, he should curve his hat a little, he looks like a thug.
