What I don't understand in all of this, is how they come up with these numbers? Cars don't cost millions of dollars to fix or replace and human loss is unquantifiable in my opinion...

Last night was definitely interesting. I had never been to a big production pop show and it was definitely cool to take a peek at that scene. That being said, talk about being out of place at a show. Can't complain though, no lines to use the mens room. In any case, Alicia can belt it out. Awesome voice to compliment the eye candy. And yeah, she shreds the keytar. Thanks bONES! Definitely wouldn't have made it out had it not been a free venture...

Good points StoneMtn. I can see why those laws are in effect to protect those not at fault in these situations. I think, however, that in the scenarios mentioned in this thread, the institution of vicarious liability is being vastly exploited in search of scapegoats...

It makes no sense to me either. Good movie but nothing more than a well-done Day in the Life war film. Not to fly the conspiracy theory flag, but war sells or is rewarded accordingly...
