I've only been once and it was a good 7 years ago too. I don't know anything about the VIP section but, if the layout's still the same, the earlier you get there, the better chance you have of camping closer to your car. That being said, the closer you camp to your car, the further you'll be from the stage. It's a give and take but otherwise it's laid out pretty well. All that aside, it's a gorgeous area and half the staff look like they have down syndrome, but that's just life South of the Dixie Line...
