  1. Hard to accept the departure of that kind of life force. Grateful for all the laughs
  2. I was hoping you were going to enlighten me and let me know if there's any inside scoop on Chris Robinson Brotherhood salvaging any of their many gigs that have been cancelled as a result. So far they have not even acknowledged the cancellation or made any sort of statement... I'm assuming that means they are scrambling
  3. I see I messed up on the thread title too which I also can't seem to edit. I'm dumb
  4. For some weird reason I can't "paste" the link to the jambase announcement but very little details have been released... Disappointed to hear this Love to Bobby!

I greatly miss the days of Fatties main stage followed by Diesel Dog rockin' the Saloon!! (on the same night). While I don't think that's happening I second that emotion.

  7. Like golden waterfalls... LOL! Be present is a decent reminder Stay safe kids
  8. Thanks for sharing Mark. This "kid" sure missed being there this time round. I love the venue and the festival and I thought that the line-up shaped up to be very solid over time. Having the ocean is just so great. Would have loved to see Fogerty. Definitely on the radar for next year, and don't worry pops we'll get you out to one of the late night shows again I know you still have it in you
  9. Count me in! I was just saying/wondering out loud whether they'd make it back in November for the third time running....
  10. So I just finished watching True Detective last night. I thought it was really well done. Great acting, really great landscape imagery and loved the music woven throughout. A little sinister and disturbing at times as I have a pretty low tolerance for that kind of stuff but well worth watching. The opening song really caught my attention and was not surprised at all to find out that T Bone Burnett was the show's "music supervisor". I looked it up and the song is written by "The Handsome Family". I've never heard of them prior...guess they've been around for a long time. Married couple. I think I'm going to dig into them a little further. Thought some of you folk may want to as well... http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/style-blog/wp/2014/03/05/a-conversation-with-the-handsome-family-the-band-behind-the-true-detective-theme-song-far-from-any-road/ http://www.handsomefamily.com/
  11. Dang....would have loved free tickets. I bought mine ages ago. Looking forward to this one!!
  12. Really great time. Fun crew, sound was good. Nice mix of old and new. Thanks for organizing the party shuttle NW. I have almost no recollection of the ride back so it must have served its purpose.
  13. Long live jambands.ca! Thanks for your time and effort bouche!
  14. All I know is I was told to bring thirty bucks. Hopefully I signed up for what I thought I did
