  7. The Dalai Lama mentioned in the beginning of his talk that those in attendance with expectations may leave disappointed . I went in expecting to smile and laugh, and he certainly did not disappoint! He is so funny and honest and humble and that's why I love that guy so much! another fave quote of the talk...
  8. my favourite quote by The Dalai Lama yesterday...talking about mother and child bonding
  9. as much as I love chocolate i don't eat it for breakfast (or before 4:20 for that matter) very often, unless it's in biscotti form with my coffee. This morning though it was (moooses recipe)spicy biscotti with my dark roast. If there are any other biscotti lovers out there, I'll post the recipe for these killer coffee dunkers in the foodeeze forum.
  10. ya..it goes right into his pocket for party favours later on! I paid $45 for freakin' WEEN totally worth the $50 I paid to sit a few rows back and listen to that man talk The last time he was in town, I was smiling for a week
  11. I know that in 2005 when the Dalai Lama spoke at the Rogers Centre on The Power of Compassion, it took a LONG time to get everyone inside. The organizers ended up holding off until everyone got to their seat before His Holiness came out on stage. So...maybe to avoid the chaos that ensued last visit they decided to open the doors early this time around?!? I'm sending my students home at 2pm today so I don't miss anything. I doubt that helped you at all, but I think you should be safe until 4:30 rolls around.
  12. I am really looking forward to this afternoon! Enjoy the talk Stn.Mtn yay...Tenzin Gyatso
