I just saw Ray Davies in Toronto at the Danforth Music Hall. It was a great show. Few artists of any era can compete with Ray when it comes to performing quantity and quality tunes and he plays many classic Kinks along with some choice cuts from his new album and a couple from his other solo projects. Don't miss it. His band is excellent too.

I've been distracted with the proposed Leslieville "Smart Centre" development and haven't been following this story. Both issues make me sick.

With bone-crunching hits on every play, the NHL can't come close. How many no-hitter NFL games have you seen? I'll answer that: None. How many no-hitter NHL games have you seen? Too many to count, not to mention few have contain big hits.

You could compile a video package of just one NFL game and it would beat a week's worth of hits in all the NHL games combined.

New music is all I listen to and all I really want to listen to, and it has very little to do with where I work.

Getting Rolen into the lineup will make it seem like the Jays just swung a big-time deal. Let them get used to this line-up. They are only 3 1/2 games out of 1st. No big deal especially with all those head-to-head series with the big boys coming up.

Steinbrenner was right to call Winfield "Mr. May" because he couldn't hit when the pressure was on in September and October, back when the Yanks were no sure thing front-runners. Winfield was furious by the way.
